HISTORY: Cruise was bought Mark about four years ago, as a 21st birthday present to himself. Accordingly, he had been looking for a good horse to compete on for the last few years, and when the opportunity came up to buy Cruise, MArk couldn't resist.
Cruise was born in Wales, trained in Ireland and competed in England. He was of modest breeding, a little pasture accident that wasn't supposed to be, but thankfully both the dam and sire were registered and had decent bloodlines. His sire was relatively unknown, so people were wondering what this foal would bring. Cruise was sold as a yearling to a rider in Ireland and later the trainers son would be competing on the grey horse. Talent a plenty, he was somewhat of a bad luck horse. A 'jinx' they said, but when he came to Mark, it was all forgotten as Mark bought the horse up the ranks without incident.
