FULL NAME: Carrington Nolee Aberly
NICKNAMES: Car
AGE: 18
GENDER: Female
ETHNICITY: English
STUDENT OR STAFF: Student
HALL: Dakota
PERSONALITY:
Carrington is generally a very sweet person. She's very caring and tends to worry about others more than herself from time to time. But, she can also be very stubborn and easily frustrated when provoked. She is very impatient with people who act destitute and try to make themselves seem like they are needy. As much as she'd like to help people, when they stop giving her respect, she ditches the idea of giving a helping hand.
Car is very much so a brainiac. She thoroughly enjoys getting good grades and likes to study when she's not doing anything exciting - like riding horses. She's a very determinded young lady and always has her bars set high when is comes to her academics. She also likes to get her hands on a good book to read, preferably horse related novels, but also books about life and romance, you know, typical girlish themes.
When she's riding, she can be very serious, which goes along with her determined mantality, but she gets into the zone. She's pretty laid back with her riding, but doesn't like messing up (but who does?) She likes to get things down to a routinely manner and doesn't stop until she feels it's good enough.
BACKGROUND:
Carrington Aberly was born in Southern England in Devon to her parents, John and Louri Aberly. The Aberly family had already been very into the equestrian ways of life, there home being a small farm that had a stable onsight that housed four warmbloods that Loury mainly road at the time when she wasn't working as a dentist. John helped her train some of the horses, but he wasn't home very long since he traveled with his business. So, Carrington grew up riding with her Mother in the arena. Everyday after school, she'd ride a horse that her mom showed in dressage shows that had a fancy Dutch name that Carrington could never pronouce correctly, better yet remember how tot spell it. Her mother enjoyed showing her the basics when she was younger, but once Carrington turned eight years old, her mother and father let her start showing.
Though Mr. Aberly was never around much, he always tried to make it home to see Carrington show. Her shows weren't elaborate like her mothers dressage shows and horse trials. Her mount was a twelve year old Danish warmblood named Doc who Carrington was very fond of. They competed in shows until Car was eleven. Doc returned to the Aberly's farm where he has resided since, but the Aberly's decided it was time for Carrington to get a horse she could ride through out her school years and still be competitive. So, her mother invested in a warmblood gelding named Kiesly.
While she was riding horses, Carrington was also a very hard working student in school. Her parents were far from leanient and were strict about her work. They liked for her to do well on everything she tried and she worked hard to get good scores on tests and exams. When big exams came up, Carrington didn't ride horses and spent most of her time studying. She was never into going out to parties with friends or anything of that nature when she was younger and good thing for her, she had friends that didn't either. She'd much rather go see a movie or go out to eat than go get drunk and not remember moments of your life.
Now, Carrington is a student at Park Equine College and wants to pursue a career in veterinary care for horses. She still owns Kiesly who once lived on the Aberly farm. He's now living at the college where Carrington rides him daily. She resides in the Dakota hall and lives by herself. She did live in the Ashton hall at one time but couldn't handle the amount of distractions there were because of noise.
MISC.:
Kiesly - Ten year old Dutch Warmblood Gelding that Carrington owns. He is a big horse, standing at 16.3 hands tall and is built very sturdily. Carrington has competed with him in jumping and some dressage. He's a sweet natured horse but can be very strong at times, but he is mannerly when in-hand. He's boarded at here at the school.
