NICKNAMES: Alice

ETHNICITY: British
STUDENT OR STAFF: Student

PERSONALITY: Alice's personality couldn't be much more different than her sister. Though not shy, Alice is a very private person. She doesn't like to share what is on her mind and prefers to keep to herself. She doesn't speak much, not because she can't, but because she just doesn't want to. She doesn't like to get involved with other peoples business like her sister does, she knows how valuable privacy is. People tend to ignore her, unless they want to get on Savvy's good side, and forget all about her. They don't care if they gossip in front of her, it's as if she's not even there. Little do they know is that she retains all information shared around her, and it seems that it never leaves her mind. She knows enough to be able to destroy anyone she'd like. Yet, there is nothing in her which would encourage her to do so. She's a rare soul that you could unwaveringly trust with your life.
Alice is scarily intelligent, she'll have an answer for anything you ask her. She freaks her peers, her teachers and even herself out at times. She has no idea where the answers come from, her only guess is her freakishly good memory, but she's thankful of it in someways. Truth be told, she doesn't really need to be going to school now. She could go straight to University if she wanted to, but she needs to be around for Savvy. She's the only one her sister listens to, their parents refer to Alice as 'Savannah's conscious'. This secretly hurt Alice, she knew that Savvy was the favorite child, but she never showed it. She has the knack for suppressing her true feelings, but sometimes the cracks begin to show. As much as she should resent Savvy, she can't help but turn to her when her true feelings do come out. Her sister is the only one who seems to understand, and she drops her stupid rich girl act when she sees that Alice is hurting. But more often than not, it's the other way around.
She has a way with animals that is something to be envied. Her ambition is to be a vet, so that she can help fix them physically as she does mentally now. She's not a competitive rider like her sister, though she's easily as good, but prefers to channel her passion into helping the horses that need it most. She's broken in many difficult horses, like her own and her sisters, and helps bring on youngsters for many people who know of her talents. She also helps heal the mental scars on those of an abused animal, and spent a lot of her time drifting from animal shelters to volunteer. This is how she got Ollie, her Greyhound.
A secret talent she has is Singing. She has a beautiful voice, it's a beautiful twist of husky blues like that could also sing the most upbeat pop songs or the harsh high pitches of opera. Only Savvy knows about it though, it's not something she shares with everyone. Unlike her love for fashion. Alice is a very stylish person, and adores fashion. She always looks amazing in what ever she wears, she could wear a plastic bag and make it look good. Savvy is more than pleased that she has her own fashion guru to consult when ever she needs it, and Alice has made much of hers and Savvy's wardrobe herself. She's always up to date with the latest trends, and has a tendency to create her own at times. This is the only reason she's noticed most of the time, for people to beg her to make something for them or give them some advise. Usually she gives in, but it takes a lot of nagging. On occasions though, she just can't be bothered and snaps. Her temper is something she has complete control over unlike her twin, but even she can slip up on occasions. Her self restraint is amazing, as she could easily get as worked up as Savvy but stops herself. People think they can just walk over her, which frustrates her deeply, but she still won't do anything about it.
To her friends, when she actually has some, she's fiercely loyal. She's not a backstabber and will do anything to those she trusts. Her trust isn't something she hands out freely though, it has to be well and truly earned. She can be somewhat protective, but is usually the comforter of the group. She is actually very funny when you get to know her, it's a dry sort of humor that mixes perfectly with sarcasm. Her sarcasm is the only way she can be mean, and most people don't take her serious when she does use it. Much to her relief. She can get carried away at times. But, not many people get to see this side of her. She hasn't had many friends, they haven't cared to get to know her. She's truthfully very lonely, and really needs someone to restore her faith in companionship. She's had a couple of boyfriends, but nothing serious. She's nothing like Savvy in that way. It's not that she's not lusted after, in fact you'd be hard to find a male that hadn't had fantasies about her. The sister of the most popular girl in school, adorably nerdish. Heck, she almost out shined Savvy in that way. She'd be mortified if she found this out though, boys make her a little nervous. It's the only time you see her true vulnerability shimmer through, but it's quickly covered again. She hates showing weaknesses.
BACKGROUND: The 6th of March, Nineteen ninety seven, London. The setting was a spotless, private hospital. You could hear a pin drop, even on the labor ward. The soft panting of the woman breathlessly caressed the walls of her private room. Even ten hours into labor, she was spotlessly made up. It didn't even seem to occur to her that she was about to have not one, but two babies. Not twenty minutes later, baby one had arrived. Girl. An hour later, baby number two. Another girl. The first girl was Alice, she entered the world silently and was to drift through it in a similar manner, Forever in her sisters shadow.
Alice grew up in the backgrounds of her family life. She didn't like the fact that she could have anything she wanted, and would rather work for it. Her parents didn't like this, and their favorings moved closer toward Savvy. Soon, Alice would be that child they just referred to when the realized she'd done well in school or had helped Savannah with something. Other than that, she was ignored. At first, she had minded and tried desperately to get their attention again. And then she became okay with it. Every now and then, envy would flare up and the cracks would begin to show, but then it would subside. She grew used to living in the shadows, becoming the good side to everything bad Savvy did and then being put away again when her sister was in their good books once again. If Savannah felt neglected by their parents, she couldn't begin to imagine how left out Alice felt. This was the one thing that hurt Alice most and made her hate her sister when she said it.
As her sister increased her social life, Alice downsized hers. She stayed in on the weekends, out of trouble and out of sight. She knew it was only a matter of time before Savvy did something to screw up, and apparently her behavior was too much to take any longer. When their parents announced Savvy was being sent to Park, Alice was more than eager to go with her. She's going to try to keep her sister out of trouble for as long as she can, but mostly she'll keep to herself and her animals. Those are what actually bring the little happiness she does feel. She's actually happy to get away from the suffocating lifestyle of London, hoping that this school will be a better stimulus for her unlike her last one.
MISC.: OLLIE. Ollie is a gorgeous five year old brindle greyhound. He's a very nervous dog and doesn't really like people all that much, with the exception of Alice. He had been a race track dog, but his owner decided he was useless. He was dumped on the side of the road and found by a passer by. Ending up in a local animal shelter, two years ago Alice found him when she was volunteering. He's been with her ever since. He has tattoo's in both of his ears from his racing days, which means he hates having his ears touched. It obviously brings back bad memories.
