PERSONALITY: Liam is an odd sort. He seems like he is very out going, but in fact he's a more than a little shy. He isn't much of a people person, and prefers the company of his dogs and horse to the people around him. The exception to this is his cousins, but that is about it. Once someone breaks through that very thick exterior, you find that Liam is actually pretty friendly, but still quiet. To make people distance themselves from him, he puts off a cold, hardened exterior of someone who doesn't give a damn. It is actually very far from the truth.
The other fact is that Liam is a hard person to communicate with. He isn't much of a talker. In fact, unless he knows you really well, then he doesn't talk at all. The pen is his mouth piece, and a paper the medium in which he expresses himself. No one really knows why he doesn't talk, apart from Connor and Simon, but it isn't their story to tell.
Apart from his muteness, Liam is a very creative person. Music, art, writing, he's mastered them all. The writing is his greatest achievement as he suffers from Dyslexia, but has overcome the barrier that prevented him from doing really well at school. He also performs a great mime, and when he really has the courage, sings like a nightingale. Let him entertain you...
His self-restraint is remarkable. Well, it kinda fits, but it doesn't mean that he doesn't get angry. He's just good at hiding it. He takes it out on a canvas, making sure that every emotion comes out with the paint.
Needless to say, he hasn't ever had a proper relationship with a girl. They find him weird, and he shies away from them. He has a few small crushes, but nothing major. His reasoning is that if he can't talk, then how would be able to have a relationship.
BACKGROUND: Liam was born in Blanchardstown, not to far from Dublin. His father was Connor and Simon's father's brother i.e uncle, which made Liam their cousin. They grew up as firm friends, but after the divorce, Liam only ever saw Connor. Together they started riding, but when he was nine, his family fell into financial difficulties. Moving to Kilkenny, Liam was dragged from what he ever knew. Once there, he found a farmer who was willing for Liam to ride the farm horses, only if he helped tending the fields. It was actually the only source of income. The Swiss side of the family cut off all ties with the family when Liam's mother fell pregnant with Liam, but didn't marry. His parents loved each other, but his father's jobless state let the man turn to drink instead.
When he was twelve, Liam ran away and went to stay with Connor and his uncle. He refused to speak of what happened at his house. He phoned his uncle at the closest town that he had entered and by that evening he was in Dublin. Liam still refuses to speak of it, but he told Connor and five years later, Simon was told as well. Liam was always bullied in school, and it would be no different. He was legally adopted by his uncle, and started school in Dublin. He excelled in the creative classes, but struggled in everything else. His Dyslexia was soon diagnosed, and everything went smoother from there on out. He was fourteen when he could finally write coherently, and distinguish words with ease. Then his latent writing ability came out.
Finishing off school, he has now sought the company of his cousin's, but refuses to stay in the oppulence of the Dakota dorms. He knows that it would provide him solitude, but he knows that majority of those people are mean.
MISC.:Jesse is a Borzoi male, aged 4. He is Liam's best friend, and is a sweet thing. He isn't one for the defensive, but in some situations will bare his teeth.
Nikita is a White Swiss Shepherd female aged two. She is the newest addition for Liam, and is actually a sweet one. She is people shy, and prefers the company of Liam alone, but will slowly learn to trust people.
