She let what he said about Christmas go, they could talk about it again. Summer always felt awkward when the subject of Melissa arose. She didn't hate the girl, much the opposite. She just wished Melissa would have accepted her. Summer shook her head briefly, and then focused back on Chuck. Her smirk was of pure delight, he was reacting to her touch just as she had wanted. She felt the shivers, and the fact that she was almost driving him crazy. She chuckled throatily as he agreed with her offer, her expectations had been correct. What she hadn't expected was him to pull her up so quickly. She barely had time to pull on her own coat and scarf. Maybe she was a little too good at being a tease. That thought made her smile. They made their way out to his car, her steps cautious as she moved. She silently commended herself for picking boots, otherwise she would have been flat on her butt right now. That would have been a mood killer. Placing herself carefully into the vehicle, she placed her hand back onto his thigh, smiling into the darkness. His question made her think a little, but she was pretty sure Bear would react well. "I'm gonna tell you up straight Chuck, he's huge. But, a softie when he knows you're not going to hurt me." she said, a smile in her voice. "I'll lock him in the other room if that makes you feel better." she cooed, her oracles sparkling with humor. Truthfully, Bear would be fine when he saw how relaxed his mistress was around Chuck.
She directed him toward her building, and as soon as the car was parked she got out. She couldn't wait to get upstairs. Grabbing his hand when he was also out of the car, she half led him, half walked with him into the building. Every few steps, she had to stop and kiss him. They landed in various places. His cheek, his jaw, his neck. One landed on his lips, but she pulled away quickly. The ball was currently in her hands, and she wondered how long it would remain so. They finally reached her apartment, and her key fumbled in the lock. Bear gave a gruff bark on the other side, which she had to shout to sooth him. The sound of him sitting down was obvious. She managed to open the door, and stood a little in front of Chuck. Bear immediately began to dance excitedly around Summer's legs, but then he caught sight of the strange man. The canine paused, his legs poised as if he was going to carry on his greeting at any second. He didn't growl though, so it was a good sign. Summer placed her hand on his back, and the dogs tail began to wag furiously. Chuck didn't exist to Bear any more. Summer got the dog to follow her, and gestured Chuck to come in.
She got the dog to go into the spare room which was on the other side of the apartment. Giving him a pat, and collecting the stuffed raccoon he liked to take everywhere to give to him, Bear would be happy to just go to sleep. Closing the door, she walked out a little more and saw Chuck in the living room. The same mischievous grin lifted at her lips. Her hips swayed tauntingly as she made her way toward him. Her lips found his, her kiss much more passionate than it had been before. She pulled away quickly though. "Now, where were we?" she purred, her finger trailing down his chest. Her oracles were burning with desire now, she'd missed having him this close. Once more, she stretched up to meet her lips to his. Her arms snaked around his neck, she pulled herself closer to him. There was now little to no distance between the pair now, this was her way of telling Chuck that he was now in control. As much as she liked to give the orders, she liked to receive them too.

When you try your best but don’t succeedWhen you get what you want but not what you needWhen you feel so tired, but you can’t sleepStuck in reverse Chuck drove at a speed that was considered safe but fast. He sometimes forgot that Summer was in law enforcement, and in more ways than one she was the law, that is until he took over. They were both feeling it, and in the dark of the car, it took all of him to not just stop. It was a harrowing experience that short drive, and boy did he suffer. Every small touch was bad enough, and her voice drove him crazy. Pulling into an empty space, he was out of the car in a flash. Summer pulled him along, with brief pauses in between. It took all of him once again, to not just scoop her into his arms, and run the flight of stairs. It had been too long, and that was the general thought all round.
Once in the flat, Chuck took one look at the big dog, and gave a strangled laugh. Big was an understatement. While Summer put the dog away, Chuck took off his coat, and went through to the living room. He waited as patiently as he possibly could. If she wasn't coming in the next minute, then he was going to fetch her. Luckily he was saved, and he felt her touch. It sent fire rushing into his blood, made sparks dance along his spinal cord, the feeling was pure bliss. He had watched her walk, and nearly died from the pleasure.
After the past that she had, he made sure that he treated her right. Summer had given control over to him, and now it was his turn to tease her. Slowly, he removed the coat and scarf, laying it on the couch. He turned back to her, he slowly kissed her neck. Breathing softly, he traced her neck line, savouring the appearance of her. Chuck's forefinger ran down her spine, feeling her reactions. Softly, tenderly he kissed her, and in so doing, moved her towards the bedroom.
With an expert hand, he removed her clothing. Piece by little piece. Now he was in charge, and he was going to enjoy every minute of their reunion. His breathing had become ragged, and his eyes held the pure wanting.

Chuck woke up with a sleeping Summer in his arms. Looking at the bedside clock, he sighed. He had a few short hours before he was due back at the College. He didn't want to leave. It went against him to leave, but knowing he had to made it worse. He kissed her forehead gently, and got out of the bed quietly. He pulled on his dress shirt, and went to the kitchen for some coffee. A scrabbling at the door alerted him that he was not the only one awake. He opened the door, and a dog ran out. Chuck returned to the kitchen and started hunting down the coffee and mugs. He made it quickly, wanting to return to the bed. He inhaled the smell and padded quietly towards the room.
"Morning gorgeous. Sleep well?" he asked Summer with a mischievous glint in his eye. He could most likely know the answer, but he wanted to hear it from her lips. Chuck got into the bed again, and handed over the coffee.

She stirred a little when she felt movement beside her, her frame staying tense. She wasn't entirely sure what was going on. The kiss on her forehead assured her though, and she felt him leave her side and a frown creased her expression. As he left, her eyes opened slowly. Her brow creased as her oracles adjusted to the light, but then she stretched out her lithe form. She looked over to the alarm clock, a sigh escaping her lips. She too had work today, her first day. Her eyes cast over to her uniform which was hung on the outside of her wardrobe. Black trousers, white shirt and black and white checked tie. A frown pulled down at the corners of her lips. Give her jeans and a sweater any day. She listened to Chuck in the kitchen, and the pause when Bear began to scratch the door. She gave a smile when she heard Chuck let him out. Obviously Bear was happy to have Chuck around, which was a good sign. She heard the canine's large paws clatter against the floor, and over to his water bowl. She would have to walk him before she went to work.
Summer decided to play with Chuck a little more when he returned. He reentered the room with coffee, and she smirked. His question arose the perfect opportunity to mess with him. "Y'know? I've had better." she said solemnly. She had to force herself not to laugh. As he got back into bed, she relented. "Just kidding." she said softly, taking the mug of coffee from him. She took a sip before placing it on the bed side table. The time was creeping forward, and this caused her to sigh once more. She couldn't believe she was starting only three days into being here, but at least it would keep her busy. Turning back to Chuck, she couldn't help but smile at seeing him there. She forced herself not to make too much contact with him though, otherwise she'd never get up. "I've got work." she said in explanation as she began to get up. Her form, still bare, walked over to the door and she pulled on her dressing gown which was hung up behind it. Her intention was to shower, but as soon as she left the room, Bear launched his attack on her. The large dog had his front paws resting on her shoulders, his tongue slobbering all over her face. "Okay, okay. It was only one night." she chuckled, pushing him down. He was used to sleeping in Summer's room by now, and obviously missed not sleeping at the foot of her bed. She cast a look back into her room, a smirk on her features. She then continued on her way toward the bathroom, a sway in her hips for Chuck's benefit.
Her shower was quick, she was in and out within ten minutes. Like yesterday, she went over to dry her locks and then brushed them neatly. No makeup was placed upon her features this time. She never wore it while working. Her skin was much paler without it, but her eyelashes were still very dark. Her complexion had always been smooth, so she rarely got spots. In fact, without the makeup she looked much younger than her 26 years. Replacing the towel with her dressing gown, she left the bathroom once again and returned to the bedroom. Now not one to be shy, as soon as she pulled out her underwear, the dressing gown was removed. She pulled on her underwear and then went over to her wardrobe. A sly smile was on her lips, but she didn't make eye contact with Chuck. Before she was to go to work, she still had to walk Bear. Pulling out her jeans and T-shirt, she finally turned around toward Chuck. "Like what you see?" she purred, the grin on her face was back to devil like. She still had time to tease him, even if he had to go too. She just wanted him to herself that little while longer.

When you try your best but don’t succeedWhen you get what you want but not what you needWhen you feel so tired, but you can’t sleepStuck in reverse Chuck lounged on the bed, Summer lying in his arms. He groaned when she mentioned work, but he silenced her with a kiss. Drawing away, he didn't want her to even go to the shower. He knew however that if he didn't allow her, then he wouldn't even go back to the College for work. The joys of being grown up, it had the good and the bad involved. Bear obviously wanted to be in the room, and made every effort to lick Chuck's face. He pushed the dog away several times, and in the end just let him.
He watched her walk, every movement as tempting as the next. How would he get through the day with these thoughts swirling in his head he didn't even know. He drank his coffee down to the last dregs. The caffeine buzz woke him even further.
Summer reentered the room, and Chuck watched her every move. His eyes held a glint in them, and his facial expression was sly. He knew that Summer was teasing him, and he enjoyed every second of it.
He watched her for a moment longer before getting out of bed. He pulled on his jeans and did his belt up. Pulling on his socks, he turned when he heard her speak. Walking towards her, he pulling her into his embrace. I like it. I like it very much, he whispered into her ear, moving onto kissing her jawline.
He ran his forefinger up and down Summer's spine. He turned around with a cheeky grin on his face, and went to put on the black shoes. He found only one, and he turned back to her. See my other shoe? he asked a quizzical look marring his handsome features. He never really thought about where he threw his clothes last night.
