Hoi thurr ;D I'm Meg, as you've probably gathered. I'm that close to being fifteen, and live in Tasmania, Australia. I've also lived in England and New Zealand, so have been around a bit. I've been riding for six years, and own a seven year old appendix QH named Ava. I've had her for a year and nine months now, she's a doll. We compete in eventing (intro here, or 80cms) and show jumping (up to about 1m) and a little bit of other things, like endurance and showing. We have state eventing titles next weekend, so pumped! Other than riding, I like... writing, and reading. Basically there isn't too much time for anything else, what with homework, but winter is coming and that means less training and competing for us. I've been RPing for four-ish years now, although the first couple were sort of one-liners. Lovely to meet you all Meg

Welcome Meg Just to share some information of my own, I'm Lottii, believe it or not (I still don't) I am supposedly in charge of this place. I'm fifteen, and live in England. I own two mares, a mounted games pony and a jumper - Cassie and Chez. Until recently I also owned a Connie mare I used for Dressage, but she went to a new home about a month ago when she developed reoccuring lameness and now happily spend her days in grassy fields. Other than that, I'm not that interesting. It's just coming into spring/summer for me, and I'm really glad winters over lol!

Salutations Meg!!! As it says, I'm the one called Myssi. I'm a rather bland American from Texas, but, I will be visiting your wonderful country of Australia this summer, so maybe I'll become a tad more interesting. I'm fifteen, soon to be sixteen (Ohmaiword, where did the time go?!). I rode Western for three years and have been riding English for around three months now. I've never competed, as I rode at backyard stables until now. I do compete with other stock animals, mainly sheep, and have won a few ribbons in that category, and I make a good batch of fudge. Reading is awesome. We should disscuss some authors and titles sometime. I need suggestions! Unfortunately, I don't own a ridable horse. Just a Shetland cross grey pony gelding who's fourteen and eats a lot. He's my baby. We call him Stormy. Or, sometimes, That-Clabberhead-Ate-The-Flowers-Someone-Go-Catch-Him-Now-Please! I do ride at a stable, and though the horses I have my lessons on aren't consistant, I do have some favorites. (Don't tell the others!) There's Sin Marcas, whom we all call "Marcas" (We're a creative bunch.). He's a seven year old Appenix QH/Paint gelding. He has a killer trot, that is not unlike a particularly violent jackhammer, and his attitude is passive-aggressive because he hates being ridden, but is too lazy to do anything about it. So he just stands there and ignores you. The funny thing about him is that he's a paint... with no markings. Except for a spot on his left hind heel. Such a weirdo. Then there's Texas Checkmate, dubbed "Checkers". Checkers is a seven year old Thoroughbred who has the attention span of a teenage boy. With AD/HD. The good thing is that he's steerable... Mildly. He's also a descendant of the american racer Secretariat, who was a big hit in the 1970's in the Triple Crown, winning the Belmont by an astonishing 31 lengths. I think it was that, maybe more or less. So, I have a bit of a brat horse obcession. I still see no problem. I'm a bit of a talker. Please, feel free to slap me with a fish at any time. Cheers! Can't wait to RP with ya! ~Myssi

Hello and welcome. I go by the name Cara (it's Gaelic for friend). I live in New Zealand (in the middle of the South Island). I'm not going into my age, but I'm older than Lottii and Myssi.
I ride English, and have done so since I started riding many years ago. I own two Standardbred geldings named Cedar Reba and Samson (or Sammy) I renamed Sammy, as his racing name was Pocket the Black and there was nothing in his name I could use, his great uncle was Samson Direct so I used that name (funnily, he's also Cedar's great uncle from his dam's side rather than his sire's). I work with my boys using natural horsemanship - kind of a mix of everything as I don't follow any one way and I don't agree with what a lot of these so-called "natural horsemen" do.
Other than my horses, I love reading, mucking around on the internet and scrapbooking.
On an end note, I'm also 15 weeks pregnant and I'm getting married in 7 weeks.

Greetings Southern Hemisphere neighbour! I am Onzy and am gonna be 18 in little more than a month. I live in South Africa, but am soon moving back to the USA. Soon in the terms that I have a year to go I don't ride at the moment, because there is just no time in the week. I also love reading, and love the idea of a book club. Heavens knows that I need more reading material apart from my music notes and math theorems. I also love writing, but it has often been labeled as melodramatic xD I once got a comment that I freaked my English teacher out. It's a pleasure to meet you!
