PERSONALITY:
Overall, Charles is a pretty nice kid. He’s outgoing and fun to be around. He sometimes doesn’t know his limits and tends to be a bit arrogant, but he’s working on it. He shows off about his rich family like any other kids from a family made of money, but he buys his friends expensive presents and that generally helps them get over it. He’s loyal, and good at keeping secrets too. When he gets excited he tends to become loud and a bit annoying, but he is surprisingly quiet and bashful around girls, especially girls he likes.
BACKGROUND:
Born in a manor house in Oxfordshire, England, Charles has always had it easy. His parents are rich and not too strict, and he hasn’t had to work hard a day in his life. He spent his first two years doing all those things that babies do, and then when his sister came along he decided it was time for him to grow up a little. He got his first horse, a black Shetland called Dog age 3 and a half. Although he was too young to ride properly, his mother would lead him around for hours. His sister eventually possessed Dog, and he got Bramble, a pretty palomino welsh pony. They started Pony Club together and became quite competitive. The family sold Bramble eventually when Charles was 8, and bought him a 14.1hh Arab cross thoroughbred, his first eventer. This horse was the one that really got his interest in jumping going, and the partnership did outstandingly at the British Pony of the Year, a big thing in England. Charles started and stayed at a private school not far from his house, and he and his sister were chauffeured there every morning. His father was often busy working- he did something to do with the stock market that brought in an awful amount of money, although the kids never knew exactly what, and Charles’s mother was the one who was really involved in the equestrian pursuits. Charles got his first warmblood when he was 11, and the combination started Show Jumping and eventing together. They did their first Intermediate-Novice event when Charles was 13, and by age 16 Charles was quite happy doing Advanced. He found out about the Park while looking for different collages- he had been at the ever prestigious, ever expensive Eton school before hand- and knew he had to come. Luckily his parents thought it an appropriate school and joined at the beginning of his first year of collage. He’s been here ever since
