Mike sighed as he stood up from his desk. Seventeen students had signed up for at either of his two combined science classes - higher and foundation. That was a rather large class to manage, even with the split into foundation and higher being taught seperately. The male had always preferred the smallest class size possible. The higher class consisted of ten, and that would be taught as two groups. He'd also chosen to split the class of seven foundation students into two groups too. It meant a lot of organization on his behalf, but he'd finally got everything sorted in time for the lessons, the one of which would shortly begin. Turning to face the wall behind him, he pulled open the drawer of the filing cabinet and reached in for the folder which contained information on each of the classes. The male sat himself down again and pulled out the first sheet, a copy of which had been given to each student, consulting it once again to see who was in this class.
He smiled as he ran his eyes over the list, pleased with the students he had. One or two had given him some trouble in the original, larger classes, but he hoped most of it would vanish now he could pay more attention to each student this term. The classes this time would be much simpler for him anyway, the students would be working on their own coursework and hopefully only bothering him when they needed help with something. His eyes flickered up to the clock. Good. The class of students should be arriving any minute.
