The dark haired teen parked the car in town, in front of a cafe called Milly's. Well, fate had played their part very well, and Simon had been glad to find out that Hayden would be working not to far from the College. At 19, Simon had finally gained some independence from his family. Connor was pretty happy and had finally gained a serious girlfriend. Both were in Ireland. After a two year partnership with Smoke, Simon had sold his grey gelding and was riding an College horse instead. Today would mark the first time in a long time that Simon and Hayden would have some alone time.
Simon entered the Cafe, and saw a friendly but slightly mad looking old lady behind the counter. He waved, and seated himself at a small table by a window. His thoughts ran amok while he waited for his long time boyfriend. Oh yes, they had been going out for the last two years, and in a year Simon would be finishing his schooling career. Only time would tell on how permanent Simon and Hayden were. While he waited he absent mindedly ordered a glass of water and watched the people stroll by. In this small town there was no rush, and Simon like it like that.

I‘M MORE THAN READY TO SEE IT GONE AND I AM THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN SET MYSELF FREE SO I‘M TAKIN OFF THIS PAIN YOU PUT ON ME He wiped the sweat from his brow as he straightened up. His face was covered in oil, and the strain on his shoulder was too much. But, finally, it was complete. He pat the side of the car as he made his way to the small waiting room where the owner was, a happy grin on his face as usual. It was the last appointment of the day for him, and hopefully he wouldn't get a call out. For today would be the first time he saw Simon in a good long while. "You're car's fixed, madame. The receptionist shall help you with the payment on your way out. I'll have the car parked out front for you." He told her, a friendly smile with his service. The happy-go-lucky male was the perfect candidate to work in Joe's. They promised a friendly atmosphere and willing staff, Hayden could provide all of that. He'd only been working here four days though, but it was going grand. As the woman thanked him and made her way to the front office, he climbed into her car and drove it out front. Parking it, he picked himself out again and popped his head in the office door. "I'll be off then." he called to the receptionist and the woman, who both called their good byes. Then he waved at the remaining mechanic and set out on his walk to Milly's cafe, where he was to meet Simon.
The walk was pleasant, he received some friendly smiles and waves from people he hadn't even met before. It was lovely, Park town had a wonderful atmosphere. He'd already fallen in love with the place. He paused to pet a dog that he recognized from when he took his four unruly canines for a walk at the lake the other day, and greeted it's owner warmly. They had a quick chat before he excused himself. He glanced down at his attire as he drew closer to the cafe. He still had his overalls on, and oil was splashed all over him. Oh well, Simon wouldn't mind. Milly's cafe was a favorite with the working people of the town, this is where most of the people he worked with came for lunch. He was yet to experience the cafe, but he was told that the owner, Milly herself, was a little coo coo. He laughed quietly to himself, turning the corner to where the cafe was situated. He scanned the cafe through the window and saw that Simon had picked a table right beside it. He grinned excitedly, picking up the pace as he drew closer to the cafe. He practically ripped the door open, pausing just enough to smile and wave at Milly who was nattering about something to another customer, and rushed to the table. As soon as he got there, forgetting that he was covered in oil, he pulled Simon up into a hug. Then, the realization what he had just done hit him. "Bugger! Sorry Simon." he apologized, checking to see if he had got any on his beloved. He hadn't, luckily. "I missed you so much." he told him, a goofy grin on his face. He'd never been so happy to see someone in his life.

Simon waited patiently for a while, but soon the anticipation was too much for him. He really wanted to Hayden, and time was not going by fast enough. His clothing style hadn't changed much during the last two years, but he had moved on from skinny jeans to the bootleg type. He still wore dress shirts and converse had changed to loafers. All in all, he came across as a well dressed male. Many didn't know that he was gay, but they soon realised when he wasn't interested in the females. He also didn't have eyes for other guys since he met Hayden. Thinking about it, two years was a long time.
He saw Hayden walking towards him in the cafe, and a large grin spread across his features. He just missed Hayden so much it wasn't funny. Hayden drew him into a bear hug, and Simon hugged back, not caring if Hayden was covered in motor oil. I missed you too! he replied. How could male be so handsome and loving at the same time? It was a question Simon still had to answer and he didn't care what the answer was. Hayden was his. A month at home had reinstated Simon's Irish accent that had taken an American twist in the last two years. There wasn't any words to describe how he felt about seeing Hayden again.
