PERSONALITY: Kian fits into the Tall, Dark and Handsome cliché perfectly. But you should also add dangerous to those describing words. There is no hiding from the dark aurora that surrounds him, every where he goes people avoid looking at him. His eyes hold an icy glaze, it's not a glare you want to be on the receiving end of. It's as if he penetrates your soul when he glares at you, it'll make even the strongest willed person shrink away. When he speaks, there is always anger or disgust dripping in his vocals. Sometimes it can be marred with sick amusement, usually when he's up to no good or tormenting some poor soul. Usually though, his expression is one of closed off dislike, hiding what he really feels on the inside. He never lets his true emotions show, he's very good at hiding them. When he smiles, it's very sinister in fashion. He hasn't smiled with genuine happiness for years. Maybe a little smirk here and there, usually when he's with Ieuan, but usually it's a dark, almost sadistic smile that unnerves all of those around him.

He's not someone to trust, he'd never stick his neck out for anyone. He used to, but since the murder he hasn't. He only ever thinks for himself and will not go out of his way to help anyone. He doesn't look for help either, he'll never do that. He suffers in silence, and only if you know him well enough will you be able to pick up on the slight mood changes that give away his unhappiness. He gets very uncomfortable around those who spill their feelings or wear their hearts on their sleeves, and then grows angry with them. It's better just to leave him alone than get on the wrong side of him, as he's not one to shy away from using his fists. He will sometimes go into extreme fits of anger, taking it out on anyone who's close enough. He and Ieuan have had many brawls, but instead of growing apart it had strengthened their friendship. This is the only exception to that rule. Everyone else grew scared of him, and students were so pleased when he dropped out of school. He's an intimidating brute with no regard for those around him. He's not loyal, he's not friendly, and he will not go out of his way to meet someone. Leave him be and you'll be fine.

Kian has an ability to shut out all positive thoughts from his mind. When he's committed the crimes he was sent down for, and the ones he was never charged with, there was no sort of remorse, guilt or otherwise felt by him. There still isn't now. As said before, he thinks for himself and nobody else. He's not a relationship sort of guy, he doesn't respect women in the slightest. This is due to his father, he still believes that hitting a woman is acceptable though he doesn't do it. He rarely goes near women anymore, not since he went down for rape. He'll only use one when he wants something, and that's hardly ever. He gets a lot of attention though, there is no denying that he his handsome. Some girls also like the fact that he doesn't care for them, he's had a few that come crawling back to him. He just casts them aside though, which causes them to become more, and more obsessed. That really gets on his nerves.

BACKGROUND: Kian was brought up in the small seaside town of Pembrokeshire, West Wales. He'd never had an easy life, and instead of being the one to change it for the better, he decided to make himself worse. His father used to beat his mother mercilessly, the whole town knew about it. His mother was good friends with Jayden Rees though, as well as her husband Dafydd. Dafydd and Jayden tried everything to make Kian's mother leave her husband, but she wouldn't. This didn't do Kian any favors. In school, he was attracted to the wrong crowd, he did little to no work and homework? Forget about it. At 10, he had already been to court twice. They were petty crimes such as stealing, well petty compared to what he would get up to when he was older, but he was involved with much older kids. He grew up quickly, by 13 he'd already been to prison. He'd been involved in an armed robbery and had stabbed the shop keeper with a knife. He stayed there until he was nearly 15. By this time, his father had left. His mother hadn't told him while he was locked up, and this news sent him over the edge. He rarely ever came home then, preferring to crash at various friends houses or even the streets. He was then back in jail, due to a rape he'd committed. He was just 16.

Then, while he was still in jail, he found out that his mother had died. She'd been involved in a car accident, which killed her, Jayden and another woman. This hardened his heart completely, there was no way he would reform now. As soon as he left prison, he was back in trouble. First it was just going to be a robbery, but then the shop keeper fought back. Kian killed him without a thought, and this time he knew he was going to prison for longer than a year. He didn't try to run, he didn't try to hide. He just waited for the police to arrive and went down without a fight. He just didn't care any more. Jail wasn't scary for him, people avoided him because of his extremely violent tenancies. He was a loner anyway, he'd only ever had one proper friend in his life. Someone whom he'd sort of related to, and that was Dafydd's nephew Ieuan. They'd lost touch though when Kian went to jail for the murder, last he heard was that Ieuan was going to America along with his uncle. He and Ieuan used to ride when Ieuan came up to Prembrokeshire for the summer, and when Kian himself wasn't in too much trouble.

Kian is now being released from prison three years early for good behavior. Good behavior being avoiding everyone so that he cannot get up to stupid things as he had before while inside. Since he has no family, and the only person who was willing to take him on was Dafydd, Kian is being sent to Park to be under Dafydd's watchful eye. He's not very happy about going back to school, but he's glad Ieuan will be there too. Though he's going to be under close surveillance, he doesn't plan on calming down or stopping his bad boy ways. He does plan on having Ieuan join in on his little plans though, he knows that together they'll be a force to be reckoned with.
