COLOR: bright bay with snip, star, and four tall white splatter stockings
BREED: Warmblood/Arab cross
HEIGHT: 16
PERSONALITY: Likes to have fun. Whether that means the rider stays on or not isn’t his problem. Doesn’t like to be confined to small areas unless there is a reason to stay; like food, but even sometimes that’s not enough of a reason. Rez enjoys moving quickly and playing games with his rider, trying to psych the rider out for kicks. Learns fast requiring you to change things up or he will do the pattern at top speed to try to let you know he’s bored with it.
HISTORY: Bred for endurance and intelligence, and that’s what they got. What they forgot to add was discipline. He was sold as a two-year old to a dressage barn that thought they could train the discipline in using the intelligence, but the horse had too much energy and in effect wasn’t ridden as often as necessary. The horse in his energy and boredom, began to jump the fences to play with the other horses. The owners responded by putting him in a stall where he took up singing. At 5, he was sold to a young Hispanic girl telling her she was crazy, and she just smiled. “He’s a gift”
DISCIPLINE: Began training as a dressage horse but will be retrained for Eventing and its components.
