I've noticed a lot of newer site have commericals, like youtube videos advertising their sites.
What are everyone's view on this? Do you think they are worthwhile or pretty pointless?
Following on from that, should we have one? Do you guys think it might help us become more active, or do you prefer our little community?

I, personally, do not see the point in them. I haven't watched one yet and don't plan on doing it. Probably because I'm so lazy xD But I don't think we should have one..

I agree with Sync. Youtube videos use a lot of bandwidth when they are viewed, so I don't watch them (Nigel uses enough of our limit with downloading that he doesn't need me to use the rest with pointless (as most of them are pointless) vids).

I'm in agreement here. I don't watch videos, mainly because of the internet issue. I also just don't see the point of using one.

Well as everyone who's posted so far seems to agree with my view, I think we can safely say Park will not be getting a commercial. I just didn't want us not to have one purely because I didn't want one!
