Alex stepped out of the Mitsubishi Outlander she had purchased a week ago. She had been staying with a high school friend for the past week, glad that her friend had returned home after school, so she'd had someone to go shopping with before having to settle into a new school. But this wasn't just school, it was college!
Since this girl wasn't short of money, she didn't have to worry about not affording things so she had bought the best that she could, and at the time, the Mitsy was the best thing on the yard. Not only was it a decent size, it was also capable to pulling a float should the need arise.
Walking into the main school building, she headed down to the secretary's office. "Hi!" She smiled brightly to the woman behind the desk. "I'm Alex Delco. Well, I'm Alejandra Delco. Please call me Alex." She smiled brightly again. "I come alone, no horse, no pets." She rested her hand on her stomach, as though stilling butterflies, knowing that her words of coming alone weren't entirely true but no one needed to know that yet.
She grinned as the woman handed over her dorm details and a map of the campus. She waved as she headed out of the room, left the building and climbed back into her car before she drove over to Ashton Halls. She knew that she could have afforded the other dorm, but she liked people and a shared kitchen would make for fun cooking sessions.
