Show Name: Spartan Barn Name: Spartan Age: 10 Gender: Gelding Color: Black Breed: Thoroughbred Height: 16.3 hh Personality: Spartan is a sweet heart and had to sort out some issues after the accident. He is a fantastic horse, but it takes time for him to trust people. History: Spartan was living in good homes all his life. He was trained as a jumper. His last owner couldn't take care of him so he was shut up in a barn and starved. This is when Jemma found him, and that same night was the accident. After he and Jemma had their issues sorted out, they competed some on the circuit. Mostly it went to hacking and spending time with each other. PERSONALITY: She’s speed, and speed is she. DJ loves to run. She’s passionate about it. She loves a rider who loves to go fast. As long as she’s running, she’s a dream to ride, but otherwise, you may have some problems. She’ll mouth the bit, toss her head and rear up in hopes of getting her way.
HISTORY: She was sold as a three year old to a woman who pampered her beyond belief. Now, she has a large, demanding, speed-loving horse on her hands and she simply can’t keep up. So, DJ is now up for sale.

 Show Name: What The Dickens? Age: 8 Gender: Gelding Color: Dark Bay / Black Breed: South African Warmblood Height: 16.1hh Personality: This guy is a little on the timid side. His past has made him wary of new people, but once he trusts you he if friendly and loving. He finds it harder to trust men than women. To ride, he is a dream, he feels like he is floating on air. History: He was exported to England as a yearling, where he was passed from pillar to post. Little is known about his past, but he has several (healed) scars and his added hesitance around men make it clear he has been poorly treated somewhere along the line. |

SHOW NAME: Jokers Folly BARN NAME: Folly AGE: 6 GENDER: Mare COLOR: Grey BREED: Quarter Horse HEIGHT: 15.3 hands PERSONALITY: Folly is a shy and lonely mare. She doesn't socialize easily, and prefers to be on her own in the corner of a field. She also doesn't like being confined to a stall or stable, and is very much an outside horse. Under saddle she is headstrong and opinionated. She is very well trained, but has a broken spirit in the sense that she can't stand anyone on her back. Folly has good manners on the ground though. She's an intelligent one, but needs a good and gentle rider to get her out of her shell. HISTORY: Folly was bred in England by an old west American cowboy. She is of unknown breeding, but wasn't a planned foal by any chance. She had a bad start, but this particular cowboy still used the methods that are now deemed sick. She was literally broken. Tied to a rope post and left without food or water until she accepted a rider. Still her spirit remained in tact and she threw every rider that got on her. Folly was sold as an untrained three year old, but drugged so that her new owners couldn't find any issues with her. When they did, she was sent to auction. No one bought her, and they have become a second home to her. Her wild nature in confinement makes her a near impossibility to sell.
