Demeter pulled up the drive of Park Equine College in her silver Landcruiser. She glanced in the rearview mirror and could see Nickle's head through the window of the sleek silver double float that she was towing. A smile touched her lips as she cruised to a stop in the parking arena.
Stepping out of the vehicle, she walked around to the float and opened up the top half of the jockey door - she'd had is modified when she purchased the float - and grinned in at the chestnut mare and standing on tip-toes, she spied the spindly legs of the colt - the reason for the door modification. "I'll be back as soon as I've announced my arrival." She whispered to the mare.
Leaving the top of the door hooked back, she headed toward the office. "Good afternoon." She said with a bright smile as she walked into the secretary's office. "I'm Demeter Carr. I applied for a position of one of the equestrian teachers, I'm going to handle the horse therapy class."
With her needed information in hand, she headed back out to the float and began to sort of her horses before unhooking the float and driving over to the dorms so she could get herself settled in.
