PERSONALITY: The silent, observant type is one way to describe Wes. He's not a person to say a lot, and he's not one to draw attention to himself. He's rather blunt with his words, and straightforward with people. If he doesn't like you, he WILL tell you. When it comes to animals, though, Wes is a whole new person. He's still silent, yes, but it's like he has a gift with them. He understands them, calms them. He prefers the company of the four legged, and will not hesitate in making this fact known. Wes can also be a bit of a daredevil, and is famous for dropping out of trees and getting bitten by snakes, the one creature to ever dislike him.
Wes is as a homosexual. He's not one to announce it, and keeps to the "don't ask, don't tell" code. Sure, he'll admire from afar, but it's one of the things he prefers not to be so forward with.
BACKGROUND: Wes grew up as the youngest child, second to his brother, Jack. The boys’ mother worked in a zoo and often brought home animals in need of care. He and his brother have been around kangaroos, wallabies, emus, and even baby crocodiles. Their mother also brought home a pair of wild brumbies. A trainer was hired, and the two animals, two geldings, later tested and revealed to be brothers, were soon trained. One was given to Jack and the other to Mason.
The boys quickly became horsemen. They got part-time jobs on a ranch in Australia and perfected their roping skills with their brumbies. They started on the ranch at age ten and nine, riding Australian Stock horses, and at ages thirteen and twelve, their horses were deemed safe enough to ride. They went to BRRA to try out for a roping team there with their two wild-caught horses. They saved up their pay and each bought themselves a new horse, an Australian Stock Horse to add to their herd, the ones they worked with on the ranch.
But, Jack eventually gave up horses and turned to family life instead, while Wes decided to keep up his career. He aqquired his brother's dog, but sold the horse he inheirted from Jack to buy himself a new one. And now he finds himself at Park.
MISC.:
Dog: Gemma is a sweet female Dingo German Shepard mix who originally belonged to Wes' brother. He got her after Jack moved away and gave her to Wes. She's a cattle ranch kind of dog, who loves people and has a mischievious side, when it's allowed.
