PLAY BY: Katy Perry
FULL NAME: Summer Zara Holmes
NICKNAMES: Just Summer
AGE: Twenty Six
GENDER: Female
ETHNICITY: American
JOB: Police Officer
RESIDENTIAL AREA: Birch Row
PERSONALITY: Summer's personality is nothing like it used to be. As a child to around eighteen, the girl was shy, barely talked and hated being around people. And then she gained a boyfriend, the boy who took advantage of her timid nature. She eventually seemed to belong to this boy, and finally she plucked up the courage to leave him. Instead of making her retreat further into her shell and become even more shy, if possible, the relationship had the opposite effect on her. The woman blossomed into someone with the need to help others, humor starting to reach her again and overall, growing more confident in herself. But, yet again, it was shot. Another abusive boyfriend came along and she couldn't help herself. Attracted to the bad boy type, this guy was just perfect for her. It didn't take him long to be possessive, and then violent when she tried to rebel. Her confidence was knocked once more.
Now, after the relationship finally ended, Summer has grown from strength to strength. She has now no longer an ounce of shy in her body. Her forgiving nature has meant she holds no grudges to her Exes, but they have caused her to become a little insecure at times. This makes her grow louder, something she doesn't like about herself. You know when she is feeling down as she grows a little too in-your-face. Once you get to know her, you can tell straight away, but it annoys the heck out of people she doesn't really know well or like. At all other times, she is sensitive to those around her. Others feelings seem to wrap themselves around her and she communicates with them well as she knows what they are really feeling. She sees it as a blessing, but others aren't always so fond of it, especially when they don't want her to pick up on them.
Summer is now very outgoing, and can sometimes be outspoken. When nervous, she begins to speak much more than usual and people have a hard time shutting her up. But when on the job, her focus is immense. She knows she has work to do, and that's what she will be doing. Anywhere else, focus is a no-no. Even while riding, her mind wanders and little things catch her attention. Luckily, her horse is a whole lot saner. Summer can be seen as ditsy, as she wears quiet a lot of makeup and dresses up while not working. But, it's to make herself feel good, not for anyone else's benefit. She doesn't want to impress anyone, but she does like to get the odd compliment.
Even though she has been mistreated, Sumz is very forgiving and loyal. She doesn't like to hold grudges and is very trust worthy. People sometimes take advantage of her, but still she doesn't care. Still a romantic, she believes that a fairy tale will soon come along and sweep her off her feet. She's the sort of girl who likes the small gestures of appreciation that come with a relationship. The kiss goodnight, the phone calls to see if you are okay. She's a soppy bugger at times, but adorable for it.
BACKGROUND:
Pre Blue Ridge Academy
Growing up in Laguna Beach, California, Summer was viewed as the hot, yet shy and geeky girl that boy's were sort of ashamed of by liking her. Yet, she gained two relationships, just not the best. As stated before, Summer had been in two abusive relationships. Only one is common knowledge that she had been beaten, she has the scarring to prove it. But, she plucked up the courage to leave both of them and turn her life around. She never really knew what to do with her life after school, but after those two relationships, she knew she wanted to give back to the people who had helped her. So, the police force seemed perfect. She trained and worked on the force in her home town for two years before moving here, to pursue the career but in a different field. She is now trusted to keep the students in check, something she knows she will love. The fact that she can keep her horse here and please her love of the animal is another drawing point to the job. But, will she be accepted? Will her past haunt her too much? A new love interest on the horizon?
During Blue Ridge Academy
Lets just say, romance blossomed. You could say that Summer helped in the taming of Chuck Bass, she doesn't like to put it that way. She and Chuck had a rough patch, but quickly made up. She also gained a new horse while at the academy. Fable. She, Fable and Digger were like their own little family, she was more than happy to spend her time with her horses. She was successful as a Campus officer, even if her partner left her early into her first year there. Not much else effected her life so much at the academy, other than her ex showing up briefly which shook her but she got over it.
Post Blue Ridge
Chuck had asked her to come to England, and at first she wasn't sure. She told him she'd think about it after he'd left. Once he had, she knew she had to go too. She missed him too much. The female handed in her resignation and hunted down a job at Park. She got Police Officer. She cannot wait to get started as it's a higher position that she's had before. With a new dog at her side, more for protection due to the fact that she's going to be living alone, she can't wait to reunite with Chuck once more.
MISC.:
Bear. Bear is a huge male German Shepherd. At five, he's been fully trained in the art of protection and will devote his life to his owner. He's been with Summer for a good few months now and they already really get on. Once he knows your not a threat, he will roll over and DEMAND that you tickle his stomach. It's his favorite thing in the world after a stuffed raccoon that he carries around almost everywhere. He gets the name Bear as he is so fluffy and big, which reminds people of how a bear looks.
