Park Equine College has a variety of horses available to the students in two ways. The first way is simply to request a horse for a specific lesson. You will not be expected to manage the care of the horse, and you will need to check it is okay to ride the horse out of lesson times. Other students may use the horse for different classes, but no one will have that horse full-time. The other option is, as mentioned, having a horse full-time. This basically gives you complete management over the horse and you will be expected to care for it as you would if it was your own horse that you had brought with you. No other students will ride the horse and you will not have to get permission to ride it. To be assigned a school horse full-time or for a lesson, please speak to Mr. Ed Hunt who is the barn manager for Mason Stables. He can be found around the barn. You can view information for each of the school horses here.
