AGE: 8
GENDER: Gelding
COLOR: Chestnut

HEIGHT: 17 hands
PERSONALITY: Blaze is stubborn and unwilling. He often puts up a fight doesn't matter if it is in the arena or on the ground, he will battle every step. His character makes him a challenge to ride, but he is a loving character. In the show ring, he is an angel, and puts his mind to the work. There is very little that phases him, and when encountering something new will just toss his head, and step side ways.
Blaze can be a terror in the stable, and doesn't see what he did wrong. He is slightly head shy, and pulls out of reach if he even sees the halter or bridle.
HISTORY: Blaze was bred and trained in France. He was ridden by different riders, none of whom who could handle his disposition. Rather than working with it, they tried to beat Blaze into submission. It didn't work out so well, and at the age of five he was put to pasture. He became destructive and was then sold on.
Max found him while on a visit to Germany, at a run down farm, half starved, about a year ago. He nursed the horse back to health, and soon they were working towards a partnership in the show arena.

SHOW NAME: Scotch and Snow
BARN NAME: Scotch
AGE: 3
GENDER: Mare
COLOR: Palomino
BREED: Dutch Warmblood x Shire
HEIGHT: 15.3 hands (To make 17.3 hands)
PERSONALITY: A sweet heart, Scotch has never really learned the meaning of bad tempered. She has excellent stable manners, and is patient with everything. She doesn't have an evil bone in her body, but can be cheeky. She's playful, and loves to run in her paddock.
HISTORY: Scotch was a foal from one of Max's other horses back home. She was raised by Max after her dam died at her birth. She hasn't known any other home other than Max's.

SHOW NAME: Hawk Eye
BARN NAME: Hawk
AGE: 9
GENDER: Mare
COLOR: Bay
BREED: Holstein
HEIGHT: 17 hands
PERSONALITY: Grumpy, moody, and intelligent are three words to describe Hawk. She is quick to figure things out and what her rider wants. She will test her rider to the limit, and will often pull tricks no matter where she is. Her attitude makes her a great horse in the arena with her attitude that stands out and commands attention. She is proud, and is not one to be messed with. She is versatile, and will adapt to any situation that is presented to her.
HISTORY: Before she belonged to Max, Hawk was ridden and trained by his uncle. It took a lot of convincing for Max to finally ride her and later buy the mare, but the two make a great pair.
DISCIPLINE: Show Jumping, Dressage, Showing, Hunter Jumper

BARN NAME: Rush
AGE: 8
GENDER: Stallion
COLOR: Liver Chestnut
BREED: Selle Francais
HEIGHT: 17.2 Hands
PERSONALITY: A goofball in many ways, he loves pulling tricks on people. He has spunk, but can be wary of strangers. He often rolls his eyes, and in many ways is more human than horse.
HISTORY: Rush was born in France and exported to Germany as a yearling. When 5 he was imported to South Africa to compete there. On the international circuit he was well known, and it took a while for Max to convince the owner to sell. Max has had rush for about 6 months.
