PERSONALITY:
Archie is part of a duo. He is the much more reserved cautious of the pair. He is grounded and very well mannered, as well as modest and kind. He always has others interests at heart, and would never take advantage. He's the sort of male that you could trust with your life and know that he would never let you down. Which his partner in crime often takes advantage of. But, he's also very forgiving and sometimes Naive in his thoughts, which Will (Partner in crime) attempts to keep from being exposed.
The quietly spoken male doesn't often raise his voice unless truly necessary. Usually in one of his heated debates with Will. Even if the pair are almost inseparable, they know how to push each others buttons. While teaching though, he keeps his cool. He's a well respected Cross Country instructor, he's been teaching since he was just 16. Albeit just to close friends, but nobody has a bad thing to say about him. He's very thorough in the way he explains things, never leaves out the small details as he knows how important they are.
With much patience for anyone bar Will, he will work with even the most difficult of students and get results. He's competitive and a hard worker, but he doesn't push someone further than their abilities. He knows when to stop and will do accordingly. He has a way with horses that is to be envied. They know they have to behave when he is around, maybe it's the confidence he oozes when around them. The magnificent beasts really bring the best out in him. He has worked with many problematic equines and turned them into champions, and is a pleasure to have working at any college.
The friendly male makes friends easily. His respectful ways and joking nature when he's had a few makes him a wonderful companion. But, in the love department, he doesn't do so well. Women make him nervous and he becomes very shy around them. He's had a few relationships, but falls hard when he does and ends up with a broken heart. Will doesn't like seeing him like this, and tries his best to cheer up his pal. Archie takes a while to get back on his feet, but he will eventually do so. But, each one is harder and harder for him. He hopes to settle down soon, and would love to have children.
BACKGROUND:
Brought up in the English countryside to very wealthy parents, hence his old fashioned posh name, Archie grew up having what he wanted, if he worked for it. Even if his parents were wealthy, they did teach him that hard work got you anywhere. He'd been riding since he was little, his mother was a keen competitor in Cross Country and obviously passed down the passion to her son. His first pony was a mutt, nobody was sure of her origins. She still lives on his parents estate, living out the rest of her days. When he was big enough, he moved onto Warmbloods, and they are now his firm favorite breed.
School was easy for him. He had many friends and excelled in his subjects as he is both creative and intelligent. He graduated and went onto a college to do a riding instructors course. This is where he met Will. The pair became firm friends, and even though they moved onto different riding schools, they kept in touch. Archie went on to train many different young riders at many different stables, as did Will, but both have now been offered a place in their respective professions at Park. They accepted it enthusiastically, and now the pair are planning on bringing a bit of mischief to the college. Archie cannot wait to get his hands on the young riders and see what horses he has to work with. He's also bringing a few of his own which shall also be up for students use if they do not have a horse of their own to use. He plans on teaching beginners to advanced, and will do so to the best of his ability.
MISC.:
Xander. Xander is an extremely rare male Ashera cat. Archie stumbles across the beautiful feline in an animal shelter none the less. He had no idea how rare the breed was until he researched it once he had brought Xander home. He's so rare that people have already tried to steal him twice! He's a beautifully tempered cat, he adores company and loves to be carried around by Archie, which doesn't happen often as he is so heavy! He is estimated to be about four years old.
