General
Warning System. I am applying a warning system to this site, just to keep things neat and tidy. When you get your first warning, a little bar will appear on your profile that you and staff can see. Each warning fills it up 20%. Fill it, and you get banned. Major things, such as racism etc, fill it up a lot faster, if not all the way. Any broken rules equals 20% filled. Understood? Good, now I can go back to being nice
- This site is PG-13 - swearing is allowed at appropriate moments, but students who swear in front of teachers will get pulled in to see the principal/vice-principal. In the same way, if an Admin (me) or Mod (Sync) think you are swearing too much, you will get a warning.
- Be respectful towards staff. They are chosen because they are trustworthy members, not because we like them better, as some people may think. They're here to help you. PM or email me if you have a problem with one of them. If the problem is with me, PM a mod. Then they can put it across to me in a nicer way xD
- Regarding the C-Box. Swearing rules are the same as anywhere on the site. No fighting, remember its not an in-character box - the odd comment from a charrie is fine, but I don't what to see whole events happening etc. And, in case you didn't know, certain IP addresses can be banned from the C-Box, so you can't ruin it for everyone, just yourself.
Roleplay
- There is no word minimum, but at least a paragraph is expected. One/two liners will just be deleted without warning. And yes, posting those will earn you a mark on the warning bar, if you have read the rules then there is no reason to do it.
- No chatspeak please. I am not obsessive about grammar, heck mine's probably horrible half the time. But at least make an attempt at proper sentences and paragraphs.
- Don't post in threads that no one had posted in for ages. You are not likely to get a reply anyway, so there is no point.
- No power-playing/god-moding. In other words, don't control other people's characters, or leave them without a choice.
Character Creation
- You may only post characters under the 'Pending Characters' area. Posts made into the girls/guys area directly (without permission) will be deleted without warning.
- Before you make a character, check to see if there are any restrictions - in the Rules & Restrictions board. At some points in time, to keep a healthy balance, we may only accept guys, or people without an eating disorder etc.
- There is no limit to the amount of on-campus characters you may have, but if I notice one or more of them haven't been posted anywhere in a while, I will let you know. If nothing is done you can and will get a warning for this.
Off-Campus Characters
- This site is based around Park Equine College, not the town. Therefore, although you can have characters who live in the town, you may only have 1. You may PM me for special permission to have more, but if you try and create more without permission, they will be deleted and you will get a warning on your warning bar.
- Off-Campus characters must have a job, they cannot just sit about at home all day. However this job must be Off-Campus.
- Generally, Off-Campus characters will have some link with On-Campus people. If they don't, and you cannot provide a reason why they should be accepted, then they won't be.
- Off-Campus characters are not allowed on campus. They may meet up with students and staff in town. If you want special permission for them to come on campus, PM me, and then you will have to make a post in the Principal's office before they go anywhere else. To do that post, you have to have permission.
- To live in Cedar Street you must have a family, to do this within the one character restriction, simply include the family members in posts as you would with pets.
- You are NOT NOT NOT allowed to live off-campus and come into college for class. NOT!
The Horses
- Students may own up to four horses
- Students may be assigned up to two of Park's horses on request
- Students who own horses and wish to be assigned horses may not total more than three horses (own and Park's)
- Students may own stallions and foals, with special permission (PM me). I will then decide if they can based on their background and experience.
- Staff may own up to four horses of their own.
- Staff may own up to three additional horses for use in their class (more with special permission.)
- Staff may own stallions and foals without needing to get permission, so long as their total numbers stay within the limit.
- Dangerous horses may be asked to leave Park at the discretion of the Principal and Vice-Principal. Outbursts - ok. Rampages injuring other students - not ok.
I think thats all for now. I hate having to make rules.
