SHOW NAME:E Ripa a e Gurtha Eala {Roughly traslated as "The Flight of the Death Spirit" in Elvish}
BARN NAME: Levitation or Levi
AGE: 13
GENDER: Gelding
COLOR: Dark Brown/Bay with star and front fetlocks
BREED: Thoroughbred X Anglo Arabian X Hanoverian
HEIGHT: 17hh
PERSONALITY: This horse, though fully grown, still has the gangly nature of a teenager still growing into himself... At least, when he isn't jumping. Then, this beast is a beautiful creature to behold, sailing elegantly over the jumps.
Levi is a bit of a goofball, and is a sweet ol' boy. He loves people, and is very calm. He spooks sometimes at silly things, but Melissa knows how to make him behave and become the serious show horse he can be.
HISTORY: Because of his disproportionate looks, this big crossbred has been shipped owner to owner his whole life, sometimes teaching kids how to ride and sometimes being the pasture pony of some auctioneer unable to get rid of him. Luckily, when Melissa was fifteen, she intervened and adopted the great big huggable bugger.
DISCIPLINE: Show Jumping

SHOW NAME: Shamrock
BARN NAME: Sham
AGE: 7
GENDER: Mare
COLOR: Copper Chestnut with a stripe and three socks [hind & left fore]
BREED: Arabian
HEIGHT: 15.2 hh
PERSONALITY: Loyal to a 'T' and fiercely protective of Melissa can pretty much sum Sham up simply, but her character is much more complex than that. She's affectionate, loving, and patient. She performs cues on a dime to the best of her ability, and her intelligence is impressive. She's not a spooky horse when Melissa and her are alone together, but she can sometimes become flighty around other people and horses. She's also rather fond of Melissa's dog, Sparks.
HISTORY: She was born on the ranch of Melissa's stepfather by the man's father, out of his greatest mare and sired by his best stud. She doesn't have champion lines, but she could be the start of them.
DISCIPLINE: Western; Reining, Barrels, Roping, and Pleasure.

SHOW NAME: Konani {"Bright" in Hawaiian}
BARN NAME: Samba
AGE: 7
GENDER: Gelding
COLOR: Palomino with stripe and two sock on left hind and fore, and right fetlock on hind on fore.
BREED: American Quarter Horse
HEIGHT: 16 hh
PERSONALITY: Konani is one of the most easy-going, "surfer-dude" type horses you'll ever meet. Relaxed, calm, and generally chalked-up to be bored with everything, it takes a lot to get this horse worked up. In the two years she's had him, Melissa has been able to train him quickly because of his laid-back attitude.
HISTORY: Bred on a Hawaiian breeding farm, then purchased by Chuck for Melissa at a auction.
DISCIPLINE: Western; Trail, Pleasure. Being trained in pole-bending, barrel racing, and reining.
OWNER: Chuck Bass/ Melissa Whitcombe-Bass

SHOW NAME: Fire Nectarine BARN NAME: Loopy AGE: 7 GENDER: Gelding COLOR: Grey BREED: Dutch Warmblood HEIGHT: 17 hands PERSONALITY: Loopy is everything that his name suggests. He's a lovable creature, but shies at everything. Most of the time he's just acting as if he's scared, but flying bucks get annoying. Loopy loves any attention, and is attentive to anyone that passes his stall. He turns into a grouch if you walk past him without acknowledgement, but that is quickly rectified with a carrot. He can be slightly headstrong, but yields quickly to his rider. Loopy needs someone who is gentle yet firm, as he is a sensitive horse. HISTORY: Loopy was bred in Wales on a small time competition stud. He was given the best start possible as his natural talent was seen from a young age. This horse just loves jumping. When he was sold as a four year old, he just didn't have the same heart as he did when he was at the stud. It was as if he gave up on what he loved, but it was more accurate to say that he missed his owners. He bonded quickly, but was sold on again. This is the first time that he is at auction though, with no apparent reason why. DISCIPLINE: Show Jumping, Dressage BUYER: Melissa Whitcombe-Bass
