SHOW NAME: Cosmopolitan
BARN NAME: Cozzie
AGE: 12 years
GENDER: Gelding
COLOR: Piebald
BREED: Unknown, Cob Type
HEIGHT: 14.2hh
PERSONALITY: Cozzie is your typical riding school plod, slow and steady all the way. But he isn't plain lazy, he is perfectly responsive... to the right aids only. As long as you ask him properly, he will do whatever you ask without questioning it.
As he will put up with people bouncing up and down on his back, and is rather hard-mouthed, Cozzie is often the first horse beginners will ride. From young children to those probably better suited to a bigger horse, Coz is their first training ground!
HISTORY: Not much is known of Cozzie's history. He was bred as a 'backyard pony' in Ireland, and then dotted about through various owners getting broken in along the way. Sandra's friend owned him for the past two years, and when she heard Sandra's new yard would incorporate a small riding school, she offered to sell him to her. Sandra jumped at the chance, knowing what a great beginners horse Cozzie is.

SHOW NAME: Blue Eyes
BARN NAME: Bluey
AGE: 15
GENDER: Mare
COLOR: Tricolored
BREED: Welsh Section A cross Colored Cob
HEIGHT: 12hh
PERSONALITY: Bluey is a sweetheart, she loves everyone and everything. She will stand and be fussed and groomed over for hours at a time. For the littlies, she is an angel to ride, responding perfectly to an aid, but always slowing if they start to lose their balance. However once she is sure you are a competent rider, she has a few little tricks up her sleeve, of varying degrees. When you have learnt all you can from her in 'push-button' mode, it will start with little bucks, until she is having full blown hissy fits. But the thing that makes her such as great addition to the riding school, is that if a rider is properly scared whilst she is acting up, she goes back to behaving like butter wouldn't melt in her mouth.
HISTORY: In her younger days, Bluey was a show pony, carrying away some top prizes. By the time she was 7 years old though, she got a nasty cut on her leg which left a scar - ruining her showing career. The riding school where Sandra's daughter Lily learnt to ride picked her up, and realized her destiny was teaching people to ride! When Sandra wanted to start Rhodanne Farm, she asked if they would consider selling Bluey, who wanted a slightly quieter life (the riding school was a busy one, and Bluey was kept in good condition and used several times a day), but where she would still be teaching people, and she brought her for a pricely sum!

SHOW NAME: ----
BARN NAME: Rocker
AGE: 9 years
GENDER: Gelding
COLOR: Bay
BREED: Unknown
HEIGHT: 16hh
PERSONALITY: Rocker might be an ugly horse, with horrific combination to boot, but he's a sweetie really. He's pretty lazy, and it takes a good rider and hard work to get him responsive. He doesn't take too kindly to absolute beginners. In the sense that he just stands there and ignores the flailing arms and legs in attempts to get him to move. Ask him properly though, and he will - very reluctantly - do as you ask. In the stable he isn't particularly friendly, but he isn't unfriendly either. Sometimes it seems like Rocker is off in his own little world - he doesn't bond with people or horses.
HISTORY: Rocker's history is unknown. He was bred by idiots who thought they could just breed whatever mare and stallion they came across and sell foals for a fortune. Rocker was one of those such foals, parents with a combination of minor conformation faults that resulted in him. Sandra spotted him at an auction out of town, a day or two after she moved to Park. Needing a bigger, calm horse for the riding school, she overlooked Rocker's looks and focused on his sensible head!

SHOW NAME: Mystic Falls
BARN NAME: Mystic
AGE: 8 years
GENDER: Mare
COLOR: Grey/White
BREED: Arabian
HEIGHT: 15.1hh
PERSONALITY: Despite being a rescue horse, Mystic is one of the sweetest mares you will ever meet! She doesn't hold a single grudge against people, even when she was being beaten and starved she just stood and took it, assuming she was doing something wrong. Some people might say it is impossible for an equine to have low self confidence, but this mare does! Without someone to reassure her, there are scary monsters in the paddock! She is rather flighty and spooky, but not because of people. You can jump up and down waving your arms in her face, and thats fine. But a plastic bag blowing 20 meters in front of her - ahhhhh!!!!
HISTORY: Little of Mystics history is known - she was rescued by a big horse charity who were overflowing with horses, so she went to a smaller charity ran by Sandra's friend (the same one who had Cozzie, although he isn't a rescue). Sandra fell in love with the mare and nursed her back to health, although her friend still technically owned her. When Sandra moved to Park three years later, her friend gave her the mare to bring with her.
DISCIPLINE: Un-trained. Although will be English All Round if Sandra finds someone to ride her.

SHOW NAME:Soleil des Miracles
BARN NAME: Sol
AGE: 11 years
GENDER: Mare
COLOR: Bay
BREED: Anglo-Arabian
HEIGHT: 15.3hh
PERSONALITY: Sol's personality is almost as sweet as Sandra's other horse, Mystic. Sol has an almost arrogant touch though, which sounds strange when she is otherwise sweet. She follows instructions willingly and happily - she loves to please - but she thinks she knows best. If a horse could look insolent, Sol has it down to a 't'.
To ride she is a dream. Sol has the floating movements of an Arab, but is closer to the level-headedness of a thoroughbred. Trails are the epitome of her existence, but arena work is the bane of it.
HISTORY: Her early history was unknown. Sandra managed to find out who her original breeder was, but the woman is now deceased. Sandra's guesswork is that's how Sol ended up in bad hands - the woman had a reputation for looking for good homes, but someone sorting out after her death would most likely not be so fussed. Sandra rescued her a few months after Mystic was rescued. With a friend experienced in the world of rescue horses on hand, Sandra gained all the knowledge she could to help the mare who had stolen her heart, and it paid off. The pair now share a truly amazing relationship, and Sandra often comments that, besides her children, Sol is the true love of her life.
DISCIPLINE: English - Pleasure/Dressage
MISC: Has a foal at foot.

SHOW NAME: Heureux Débuts
BARN NAME: Debut
AGE: One month
GENDER: Filly
COLOR: Bay
BREED: Anglo-Arabian
HEIGHT: To make 15.2hh
PERSONALITY: So far Debut has proved to be as cheeky as a typical foal, yet with all the sweet characteristics from her mother are evident. This little filly loves human company, and is reveling in all the attention from visitors to the yard.
HISTORY: Debut foaled out of Soleil des Miracles, by an unknown father at Rhodanne Farm. Her name means 'Happier Beginnings', and has two significant meanings. The first refers to the fact she will be having a better start in life that her mother, and quite possibly than her sire. The second is about the word beginning, Debut. She is the first foal of Rhodanne Farm, and hopefully one of many, healthy, happy foals to come.
DISCIPLINE: Will be trained in English
