Alejandra stood in the warmth of her gelding's stall in the Campbell Stables, running a brush along his smooth coat which was already clean, but she wanted to make sure that there was nothing there that would annoy him once the saddle was on his back. "Stand, big boy." She reprimanded him with her voice as he danced on the spot, but there again this was her own fault for leaving him for too long while she sorted herself out. Sending her daughter off to live with her mom had been the hardest decision she'd ever made - even harder then not telling her mother she was having a baby until the girl had been born - but handling college work, riding and raising a baby had become too much for the woman so she had given in and rather then giving up her college courses she did what was best for the baby and sent her back to the States to live with her mother, knowing that the baby's Noni would take great care of her. She pulled the girth tight and led the skewbald out of the stall and smoothly mounted him before asking him to move forward and heading toward the start of the trails. Due to the weather, she chose the Woodlands path. after tightening the girth once more, she adjusted her stirrups to a length she preferred she asked him to move forward again and they made their way down the path at a good paced walk, the gelding's long stride covering the ground with ease.
