HEIGHT: 16.1 hands

PERSONALITY: Tick is one of those lovable stallions, who doesn't even know he is a stallion until he is covering a mare. He is somewhat dopey, and needs constant reminder that he has four feet and those four feet need to be placed correctly if he doesn't want to get hurt. Tick does has his off days where he doesn't want to do anything and throws in the odd buck now and then. He doesn't put his heart into it, and will carry on plodding through the exercises. He mustn't be forced into something because he just get's grouchier than usual.

Tick does love attention and has a soft spot for Julie, Shane's daughter. He is the one that is most willing to have the little girl on his back at all times, and is so gentle with her. He is playful as well, enjoying a good frolic in the snow or gallop around the paddocks, just as much as sleeping or eating.

HISTORY: Shane met Tick when he first went to visit Jax and Kris in Germany. Tick was only three at the time, but was showing a lot of potential. He was bred by Jax for his jumping bloodlines, and when the stallion was four, Shane was given the opportunity to train and compete Tick. They have a strong bond, and Shane was given the chance to buy the stallion when the yard was sold. After a tendon injury six months ago, Shane is only bringing the horse back into work now.

BARN NAME: Buzz

AGE: 7

GENDER: Mare

COLOR: Bay

BREED: Oldenburg

HEIGHT: 16.1 hands

PERSONALITY: Where Tick is sweet, Buzz is annoying cow in horse form. She does have her good days when she becomes totally sweet and in the mood to work, but mostly is mareish in most of her behaviour. She is just as playful, but is destructive rather than cute. Winter blankets, fly sheets, automatic water buckets and stall doors are never safe when it comes to Buzz.

HISTORY:
Shane bought the mare from an auction in Frankfurt, mainly because she looked good and her bloodlines would be a welcome to addition to the farm. Her personality was thankfully not passed on to her two foals that she's had so far. She throws good, strong foals but is on a break and Shane is focusing on her show jumping career.
