The Dress Code
The Test
Test One.
Test Two - includes some lateral work.
The Judge
Mike Trevenian glanced over the arena in front of him. It was set out with white dressage boards and letter markers, with a pot of flowers at each marker. The area inside the dressage boards could be accessed at A, and the male was seated in the usual position of a judge - at C. On his lap was his clipboard with all the information about the students who had signed up for the dressage trials. He'd given them an option of two different tests, one of which had a little bit of lateral work in. It would give him a good idea of who had confidence in their ability by which test they chose, and help him weed out those who had gone for the higher test even though they would completely flunk it. He sighed whilst he waited for the first student to arrive.
The Dress Code
- Show Jacket
- Solid, light coloured jodhpurs or breeches
- Long boots
- White shirt
- Dressage or GP saddle
- Plain coloured numnah/saddle pad
- NO boots to be worn
- Snaffle bridle - no doubles
- Crop (optional)
