Archie was in a great mood, he always was before he taught. He whistled happily as he tacked up the large bay gelding. He'd chosen to ride Louis today in his class, knowing that the older equine would keep a level head as new students came to the class. There had been a reorganization of the timetables, so there were many new students attending and a few of the students whom had been attending at the start were now not. He didn't mind at all, he welcomed all new faces to to his class, no questions asked. Louis peered around to his owner, an expectant look on his intelligent features. "Alright Louis, we should be just about ready." he declared, tightening the girth once more. The gelding huffed impatiently, obviously wanting to get out and about, bored of being cooped up in the stall. Archie chuckled, and then opened up the stall door and led the brute out. Xander immediately appeared over the door of the neighboring stall which held Mo, the pinto warmblood also let her cranium swing over the door to see what was going on. The Ashera feline strode to Archie's side, and looked up at his owner expectantly. Archie shook his head defiantly. "No, I'm not carrying you." he told the cat sternly. Xander pushed himself onto his hind legs and planted his paws on his masters leg. His expression was pleading. Archie was about to shake his head again, but then sighed deeply. "Alright, alright. But you're going to be put down as soon as we get there." he told the cat, before releasing Louis's reins and scooping up the feline. Xander was much heavier than he looked, and he looked huge as it was. Adjusting Xander so that his front paws were swung over Archie's shoulder, and holding him close to his chest, he gripped onto Louis's reins again. The three, well two, walked calmly toward the Cross Country course, in no rush what so ever.
Once on the course, he tried to remove Xander from his grip. The feline wasn't having any of it, and dug his claws into Archie's sweater. Grumbling, he let the cat stay where he was, and leaned against Louis's strong shoulder. The gelding reached around to snuffle his owners hair happily. You'd never think that the gelding was fifteen, he still acted like a five year old most of the time. Though, he had always had the same, reserved, pleasing temperament. Archie smiled and pat the geldings thick neck with his free hand that wasn't supporting the daft cat in his arms. As soon as the students had all arrived, Xander was going to have to go do his own thing. As he awaited the students to arrive, he pondered how hard it would be to ride a cross country course with a cat in your arms. He came to the conclusion that it would be very hard indeed.
**I will add my own student characters after you have all added your own.
