Equestrian Vaulting
Rowan Drache
The Students Anna Hunt Cara-Jean Kitchi
The Class This most simple way to describe Vaulting is gymnastics on horseback. If you have ever seen Vaulting you will understand the basic idea. The 'lunger' lunges a horse - normally a heavy, draft type - on a 15-meter circle. The speed the horse is going depends on your level. The 'gymnast' as such, will either be working individually, in a pair or in a team of normally six to eight people, although we will probably focus on individual. There are six basic moves which must be performed in a competition and then a freestyle section.
Signing Up To sign up please add the class to your timetable and attend classes.
