A petite young woman walked briskly into the secretary office. Her leather bag slung over her shoulder and paperwork in hand to turn in to secure her enrollment here at Park Equine College. The name on the papers read 'Carrington N. Aberly' which was the girls name. The 18 year old was here for her schooling in hopes of becoming a veterinarian someday and she also wanted to better her equestrian skills so she could possibly choose a career in riding horses if it ever were to come up in her life. There was no telling what was in store for her life, but she was dtermined to do well and be successful in whatever it was she was going to do with her life and there was no stopping her, really.
Walking into the office, she walked to the desk and greeted the woman behind it witha warm smile. "Hello ma'am. I'm Carrington Aberly, I have my papers for my school year," she handed the lady the papers, "Oh and my horse is , too." she added jokingly, of course Kiesly wasn't going to be taking an English class with her. Carrington was lame with jokes and she awkwardly laughed at herself to cover up the lack of humor in her lines. She stood there sort of awkwardly, wondering if she'd actually have good time here or not. If luck was by her side, she hoped she would.
She had many hopes and dreams for her horse, Kiesly. She had planned on doing big events eventually with him since she felt he was ready to take on some bigger obstacles and more challenging patterns. She figured it'd be fun to see other riders since she was so used to riding alone or with her Mother, who, too, rode horses just as competitivly as Carrington did. But, Carrington was more interested in competiting with people her age and at her level and Park seemed like a good place for just that.
With all of the classes they had to offer, ranging from the usuall academics like Maths and English, Carrington found herself more interested in the equine related subjects like Show Jumping and Equine Reproduction. She was drawn to horse related subjects and that was apparent. It was a good thing that her parents understood her passion for horses and thinking of ways to better their health care and ways of training. It was definitely something she inherited from her Mother and was glad for her. With out her Mother's already established equestrian lifestyles, Carrington didn't know what she'd be doing. She probably wouldn't be at Park Equine College.

Jaelle frowned as she glanced at the schedule shown on the computer. Another student was meant to be arriving soon, but the woman had an appointment with a student in ten minutes. Working two jobs already as an Art teacher and a counsellor, she was also subbing as a secretary whilst the college was looking for new staff. The busy lifestyle suited her, but the box of mewing kittens behind the desk with her was distracted. They were a couple of weeks old now, she'd found them on her way to the college and taken them on herself, missing all the time she'd spent with animals at the shelter before coming here. She looked up and smiled as the student arrived, glad she would be able to help the girl before she had to disappear to her appointment. Taking the papers offered to her, she glanced over them whilst speaking. "Welcome to Park Equine College, Carrington. I have your schedule here, and your room number is number eleven." She paused to grab the schedule off the printer are offered it to the girl along with a map of the campus. "Your horse will be stabled in the Campbell yard, and the yard manager there is Ed Hunt, so he's the one to see if you have any questions about that. Other than that, I'm Jaelle, and I teach Art and am the counsellor here too, so I'm more than happy to help if you need anything." She smiled warmly towards the girl before picking up a kitten who was trying to escape and holding it on her lap. "I don't suppose I could interest you in a kitten?" she joked.
