SHOW NAME: Livin' It Up
BARN NAME: Livvy
AGE: 6 years
GENDER: Mare
COLOR: Buckskin
BREED: Mustang
HEIGHT: 14hh
PERSONALITY: Livvy is terrified of almost everyone and everything, but that's only because she's never experienced it. She has an insane curiosity for absolutely anything though, and that will probably help when someone tries to work with her. With other horses, she is definitely the dominant one though, and spends her time bossing everyone about. Once she understands humans aren't a threat to her, she might be a bit of a handful if this approaches continues, which it most likely will.
HISTORY: Livvy was brought into human company as the result of a BLM adoption round up. She was adopted by a young woman who was preparing to move to England. She found out that she would have to own Livvy for a year before she could move her to a different country, the mare spent the twelve months turned out with a small herd of horses in fifty acres of grassland. She spent the journey from her field to England sedated, and then got turned out into a field again. Her owner started trying to work with her, but she had moved to take up a new job which left her with little time for the mare. Sedated again, the mare has come to the auction on the owner's hope that one of the college students will have the time to work with the mare and reveal what's underneath the frightened exterior.
DISCIPLINE: Not started under saddle.

SHOW NAME: Stylish Mistress
BARN NAME: Missy
AGE: 9
GENDER: Mare
COLOR: Chestnut
BREED: Connemara/Thoroughbred
HEIGHT: 14.2
PERSONALITY: A mare terrified of everything and rather underweight (not shown in pic). She has an amazing talent for jumping though, if you can stay on past her spooking. Cara's analysis: Rather straight profile, large jowls, large yet well defined ears, wide spaced almond shaped eyes, a teacup muzzle with heartshaped upper lip, a supraorbital deep depression (which was an indicative of a stressful life). The latter would vanish after a while when the mare realizes there is nothing to stress about and once she has gained weight. Everything else pretty much screams that she's high on the intelligence radar.
HISTORY: Her history is completely unknown, although it is guessed that she has been abused in the past due to her nature.
DISCIPLINE: Show and Hunter jumper

SHOW NAME: Affaires Risquées (Risky Business)
BARN NAME: Risk
AGE: 4
GENDER: Mare
COLOR: Yellow Dun
BREED: Highland Pony
HEIGHT: 13.3
PERSONALITY: No trust in humans and is lacking any form of training in being handled so she is spooky and unsure of everything.
HISTORY: This little girl was rescued from a case of neglect. She was purchased as a fold as nothing more than a lawn mower and has been treated like one. She has over-grown hooves, worms and a severe case of rain rot. Because of her limited interaction with humans, she has yet to see them as anything other than predators, and it will take some time to break through the wall she had built up around herself. From the half-healed scars on her back it is evident that she has been beaten in the past.
DISCIPLINE: Unsure. Hopefully English pleasure at the least.

SHOW NAME: Two By Two
BARN NAME: Noah
AGE: Two Years
GENDER: Gelding
COLOR: Skewbald
BREED: Gypsy Vanner
HEIGHT: To be 15.2 HH
PERSONALITY: Noah is a very curious colt with a mischievous nature. He wants to get his nose into everything and see what is going on. He's a sweetie but has a temper when he's deprived of attention or information. He's willing enough to listen, but can get distracted easily, especially by dogs. He's fascinated by them. He loves attention and will search for it. He's also very intelligent and has already learned how to escape his stall. His personality is still developing though, but so far he's proved to be a wonderful little thing.
HISTORY: Noah was bred at a farm in Northern England. His dam was a first time mother and wasn't very good. He was hand raised. Once weaned, his owners knew they couldn't care for him as there were already too many animals to care for.
DISCIPLINE: None yet, but will hopefully enter in conformation classes for the next couple of years and we'll see where things go from there.
