Bella knew that she would be shot if she had gone anywhere near the tack room, no matter how much it killed her not to do it. With a whole gang of guys watching her and reporting her every move, she wasn't going to take the chance and end up fighting with Dafydd about it. She was still slightly depressed about her whole situation, and fearful about what the future held. So many what if's went through her mind that it was actually just a tad scary. Bella headed back to the dorms after visiting with the horses. She just wanted to spend her days on horseback, riding and relaxing, and now. Now she was going to wait for the best 7 months until she would be able to ride again. That was the worst type of hell, but thankfully she wasn't showing just yet. People knew, or they guessed a few things, but she wasn't a popular one so nobody was really interested.
Ruthie was chilling in the common room, lying on one of the couches and reading one of the set pieces for the year. She was dressed in a loose t-shirt and loose cotton pants, comfort before style. The sun streamed into the room, creating quite the lazy atmosphere, and she stretched out like a cat. There wasn't much to do on a Saturday morning and she wasn't really the one to go riding after accident. One person was really on her mind, and that was Bella. They were sharing one or two classes and had gotten talking about the deeper things in life. She knew the girl was going through a rough time, and Ruthie wondered how she could appease the girl's mind.
Bella loved Kian, she don't know if she would have done what she did with any other guy. She still had to tell her parents that she was pregnant. Her mother would be shocked, but somewhat supporting. With her father she would have to make sure that he was in some far away country when she told him, because London was to close for comfort. Her father would come over to the College and personally strangle Kian for what he did. After all, she was his little girl and not a grown up woman. Entering the common room, she found Ruthie on one of the couches. Hey, she said, greeting the female with a tired smile.
Ruthie looked up when Bella greeted her. Hey, how are you today? she returned, and actually wanted more than a fine for an answer. The girl looked tired, maybe it was just stress and the pregnancy taking its toll on her, but there was something else troubling the young mind of her friend.
Well, the morning sickness is a bitch and I'm not riding, and then there is school as well, Bella stated honestly. Chewing her lower lip, she wondered if she should ask her questions. Do you think Kian will make a good dad? I don't know much about how he grew up and such, but I have met his father. I just need to know more about him because some things he refuses to tell me, Bella spoke the words quietly, wondering if she was doing the right thing going behind Kian's back to find the information she sought.
Ruthie had respectfully put down her book while Bella talked. She may have known Kian her whole life basically, so she knew a few things that other's didn't, but those were for Kian to tell Bella, and she was on the verge of going up to him and threatening to castrate him if he didn't come clean to the mother of his child. Kian has never really had it easy. He is shit scared of becoming a father. At least that is the feeling I'm getting from him. He also doesn't want to become his father, and he refuses to be a dead beat. He is a wonderful man, and I am glad he found you. You have done him the world of good. I used to fear him snapping with anger, that was the aura that he let off, but he is happy now. I think he is ready to put the past behind him and just carry on.
