Zoe is a rebel in every sense of the word. She doesn't like adult authority over her in any way, except from Kris. She gives attitude to almost everyone, not really caring what the reaction is. She has ended up in the principal's office more than once and it wasn't to be commended on something that she did right. Her no care behaviour frustrates everyone that cares about her, but she lost interest when Jax passed away. That is the only person she ever respected, and only ever will. Her clothing style punk rocker mixed with classic chique.
She does have a lot of energy that just pents up when she can't dance or ride. Zoe has carried on riding, no matter how much she doesn't want to, because she does feel a connection to Jax. She does hide her real feelings, because she doesn't want people to see her weakness. It's hard for her to show emotion because of her stubborn pride and that pride has caused her to push away everyone close to her. She is independent and strong willed, prone to anger outbursts that make even the strongest go into hiding.
Relationship wise, she isn't one to be tied down to one person for longer than a few months. She get's bored and breaks up before going on the prowl for a new victim. She doesn't care about whose hearts she breaks, as long as she can earn that type of reputation wherever she goes.
BACKGROUND:
Zoe was born in Glasgow, Scotland, the youngest of two children. Her older brother was twelve years older than her, so by the time she was old enough to remember him properly, Jax was already making his living on the international show circuit. Zoe grew up around horses, her brother rode, and she followed in his footsteps. With Jax being so much older than her, she grew up basically as an only child when she turned five. Her parents doted on her, and in their eyes she could do no wrong. She was diagnosed with ADD at an early age, but thankfully had understanding teachers who captured her attention through horses.
Zoe is an intelligent child, but needed the right ways to apply her energy. Subjects such as maths and science bored her, but when given dance lessons excelled as her energy was being expended on rigorous activity. She soon also showed her artistic talent, but when she turned 10 also became known to have extreme anger outbursts. A doctor diagnosed her to be bipolar, and she was put on medication. It helped and she can act pretty normal when she is under the medicated haze. By this time Jax had also met Kristin and they were engaged. She made a very cute bridesmaid. Jax was the loving older brother, and she adored him. Kris was the older sister that she never had.
Her life revolved around horses, dancing and art, and everything was pretty normal for a while. That was until Jax died in a tragic riding accident. She was 16 at the time, and had her whole world crashed around her. Her parents lost contact with Kris, because they blamed her for Jax's death, but Zoe needed someone like Kris to help her realise that everything was going to be okay. Zoe became a party animal, her grades dropped and she took up smoking. She lost interest in horses, and she became a rebel. A month ago her parents contacted Kris, begging her to intervene, and she agreed to take on Zoe. Kris didn't tell Dafydd though that Zoe would be joining them, but the girl is sure to be a handful.
