PERSONALITY: Amelia is a handful. There is no doubt about that. The petite female had been diagnosed with having ADHD when she was just five. Probably a little too early, but sadly she never grew out of it. Because of this, the female is unable to keep still at all. She has to move things around constantly, is twitching in her seat every few second and doesn't do well in enclosed spaces. She becomes some sort of wild animal, pacing the room and growing more and more agitated. She also becomes bored extremely easily, and needs to be occupied constantly.
The female has a very artistic streak, and uses it a lot to express herself. Although she hasn't got closed of emotions, it's hard for her to put them across correctly as she gets frustrated easily. So, she tends to draw or paint her feelings instead. This is the only time anyone will ever see her quiet and calm. Sadly though, her 'artistic temperament' has gotten her into a lot of trouble. She, and a couple of friends from her old school, had turned to graffiti. The three had managed to tag most of their surrounding neighborhood and school. They'd eventually got caught, but Amelia would never say that she regrets it. In fact, there is still one left on the side of her school that she stopped to admire whenever she passed it.
Although she is intelligent, Amelia's mind races at a mile a minute and her concentration is so bad that she has to study a lot to pass her classes. She can be found in the library at times, but is usually kicked out and prefers to study in the pastures with her pets. Her teachers also get very annoyed with her antics, so she doesn't spend a lot of time in her lessons. Usually her friends will help her catch up, but she's used to doing it alone and will get it done. She does actually want to finish school and go on to get a good job. It's just the effort to attempt to calm down her uncontrollable mind.
This mischievous female has a huge love for pranks. She will work alone usually on said antics, but will sometimes enlist the help of anyone willing. Her pranks were legendary in her last school, so she usually had many offers for help. Her sense of humor can be somewhat childish, but she can also be rather sarcastic when she wants to be. She also has a bit of a temper, and can be violent on occasions. There is no doubt that she could handle herself in a fight with another student, and has proved so on more than one occasions.
Unlike her equally pretty aunt, Amelia definitely knows that she is very fortunate in the looks department. This doesn't mean she flaunts it, oh no. She does use it to her advantage though, flashing bright smiles at unsuspecting hormone driven males, throwing an extra sway in her hips as she walks. She finds it hilarious, and cannot help but laugh at the wide eyed expressions of some boys as she passes. This doesn't mean she's a 'slut'. Far from it, in fact. When she's in a relationship, she's nothing but faithful. She hasn't been in many, due to the fact that she's still young and isn't really bothered about having the 'girlfriend' title. She's happy to continue as the free spirit she's often described as being.
BACKGROUND: Amelia had always been a hyperactive child, the only member of her family able to keep up with her would be her tomboy aunt. Although she loved her parents, and they adored her, Amelia found herself begging to be with her Auntie Libby as much as she possibly could. As a result, she took on the same interests as her equally mischievous relative. The little blonde female, much to her grandfathers delight and fathers dismay, became as equally enthralled with the mechanics of vehicles as the rest of her family. More to everyone's annoyance though, she also picked up on her aunts mischievous side. This meant trouble for whoever she was around, and everyone knew to hide when the glint appeared in pretty Amelia's dark blue oracles.
The female has had her fair share of trouble with the law due to her graffiti habit. There is also the many detentions she received for her behaviour in school, and she was almost always grounded for things she got up to at home. She loved her childhood though, enjoying the times she spent with her grandparents and aunt, her quality time with her parents. She knew she was loved and couldn't ask for more. Plus, they seemed to understand why she acted as she did, and were as soft in their punishments as they could be. Although, sometimes she really did grate on them all.
Riding was something Amelia became obsessed with when she turned seven. Nobody really knew where it came from, due to the fact that nobody in their family had an equestrian background, but it was embraced. The hobby definitely soothed the hyperactive female, giving her something to do constantly while around horses. Eventually, her grandparents bought her a horse as a birthday present when she was thirteen. The youngster was ecstatic, and has had the horse ever since. The western disciplined girl threw herself into her riding, keeping her out of a little less trouble. You just couldn't rid her of it completely.
Amelia now finds herself moving from Montreal to join her favourite family member in Park. Along with Sasquatch and her horse, Amelia cannot wait to get started at the school. It took a lot of nagging and promising to behave to convince her parents to allow her to come to Park, but they eventually gave in. Libby cannot wait for her niece to arrive, and Amelia cannot wait to see her aunt either. It's definitely going to be one hell of a reunion.
MISC.: SASQUATCH. Sasquatch is Amelia's favourite thing in the world. The gray house rabbit is two years of age, and is completely and utterly adored by his owner. He is a very cuddly animal, and loves to be carried around by Amelia and feels very safe in her arms. Unlike many rabbits, Sasquatch isn't very nervous. He has no problem with shuffling over to strangers and demanding to have attention. He's a funny little creature, who will have mad bursts of energy and will race around like he's gone insane. It's very humorous to see.
