Tyler didn't wake with a start, it was more of a gradual release into consciousness that made his movements sluggish and lazy. A flood of memories hit him, and he looked to his left where another inert form was curled into his side. Oh shit! he thought, biting his lip. Did he and Libby? Looking more closely... SHIT! it came louder. This was his roommate and now he had gone and slept with her. Another volley of words hit his mind, but he pushed them aside. Maybe he should just enjoy the moment a tad longer. Kissing the female's bare shoulder, he lingered slightly on each spot, smiling as she shifted under his kiss. Slipping out from under the sheets, he pulled on his boxer shorts and exited the room. This moment called for some coffee. The dogs were all asleep in the living room, and woke only briefly. Thankfully he was only working the afternoon shift opposed to the full day shift that he usually did. Tyler brewed the filter coffee, put it on a tray and went back to his bedroom. The room was dark, so he couldn't see much, but he put Libby's cup on the beside cabinet and went to open the curtains. After the way she drank last night, she would be needing that coffee. He returned back to the bed, and was quite happy to drink his own coffee. The only mood spoiler would be if Glenn phoned and demanded he work full day. He enjoyed saving lives, but he also needed a break from the trauma he witnessed day in and day out. This was the first time that he actually enjoyed his day off.

Libby frowned in her sleep as she felt warmth sweep over one shoulder, causing her to shift slightly to get away from it. She was already too warm as it was. Suddenly though, the extra heat vacated the spot from beside her and she sighed contently, falling back into a deeper slumber. The small blonde had managed to curl herself into a tight ball, almost unseen under the covers apart from her mess of wavy blonde locks spilling out toward the top of them. A sweeter, more content sigh left her sleeping form and she buried herself deeper into the mattress. Ten minutes later, she woke to hear shuffling around the room. Her brow furrowed, frowning as she heard the quiet thunk of a mug hitting the bedside table. She instantly cringed, the noise proving too loud for her fragile state.
When she felt the bed dip beside her though, she shot up into a sitting position. The sudden movement caused her head to violently thump, her expression screwing up painfully. The covers pooled around her waist as she peered around the room, squinting due to the light coming from the windows. Her expression grew confused as she identified the room as not her own, but Tyler's. Glancing down at herself, her brow rose slightly. "I'm naked." she croaked as she turned her head to look at Tyler, who was drinking coffee beside her. Clearing her throat, she hesitantly pulled the covers up to conserve what modesty she may have left. "We had sex last night, didn't we?" she asked in an unidentifiable tone. Hazy images of herself dancing with Tyler at the bar came back to her, as well as their first kiss.
She groaned slightly as her headache made itself known again, and her stomach churned. "This situation has the ability to be extremely awkward. I think it kind of already is." she told Tyler quietly, trying to pull in some more details from last night. All she could really get were of herself and Hayden, not her and Tyler. Tyler must have turned up much later than Libby and Hayden themselves. Cringing slightly, she made to get out of bed."I'm going to shower, and then we can talk about this." she told him, slipping from under the covers and heading to leave the room. She didn't bother with putting any clothes on, the bathroom was only next door.
Twenty minutes later, she stepped out of the shower feeling much more refreshed. Toweling her hair dry briefly, she dried the rest of her body before slipping into her dressing gown. The warmth of the water had managed to clear her mind, and she now found where she stood on the situation she got herself into with Tyler. Letting herself out of the bathroom, she braced herself for the greeting she received off both Tyson and Dominic. The dogs soon lost interest though, and allowed Libby to make her way back to Tyler's room.
She entered without knocking, as she always did, and smiled slightly at him. "I don't regret it." she told him, walking closer to him. He was still sat on the bed, and she immediately took advantage of the situation. Straddling his lap, she smirked at him. "In fact, I would really love a repeat performance. Sober." she murmured, leaning forward a little to allow her lips to hover over his. She didn't go any further though, and allowed him to make the decision whether they could continue this or not. She hoped he would.

Tyler glanced over at the stirring form next to him. Not five minutes had passed and already she was waking up. Before he could get any words out however, Libby spoke, well croaked, to him. He was trying his best not laugh, because the situation was awkward but it was funny as well. You could say that, he answered her with a grin, he would use much more descriptive words to describe the previous night, but obviously Libby was in no state to remember what happened. Already she looked confused, and he guessed that she was trying to piece together the information from the night before. Oh well, you couldn't blame her for at least trying. He ogled her form as she left the room, already just wanting her back beside him.
He finished off his coffee while he waited for Libby to get back, and silently fed the dogs. Three large dogs in medium sized flat was not the best solution, but it worked somehow without total destruction and chaos. By the time Libby had finished showering he was back in the bed reading the newspaper that had been delivered. Front page headline was the car accident he had been called out to the previous afternoon. The other occupants of the three cars were recovering, the only fatality being the one he had to save. What a way to go to work. Glancing up at the footsteps, he smiled slightly, the guilt now making itself known again.
Laying aside the newspaper, he was glad to hear that she didn't regret, because he didn't know what he would have done if she did. She straddled his lap, and his hormones were driving him nuts. Tyler slipped his hands under the night gown, feeling the excess moisture dripping down her skin. I'm glad, was what he said, and met her lips. His cell phone vibrated just then, and sighing deeply he answered it. Tyler, can you come in an hour or two earlier? The chief wants to see you, came Glenn's voice over the speaker. I'll be there, he grumbled and hung up. Right. I think we were there, he said, smirking at Libby and finding her lips. He deepened the kiss, allowing time to stop. With practised ease he removed the night gown, rolled Libby over so that he had the control.
Half an hour later Tyler was back in the position that he had been in when he woke up. A lazy forefinger ran up and down Libby's spine as he looked into her eyes. You're gonna make me want to stay at home, he whispered, a smile gracing his features, and planted a soft kiss on the tip of her nose.
