PERSONALITY:Serena is a lively,bubbly fun girl. She has her own dress style and doesn't care what other people think of her. She is approachable and very friendly to anyone. She can get a bit moody some days but it is very rare for her to do so. She has very few known enemies, but there are some who don't like her.
BACKGROUND:Serena was born on the outskirts of London, in a small country town. Her father was a doctor and her mother stay at home. From a young age she was riding, and always had a pony on the plot where they lived. She grew up happy, but when she around 14, disaster struck. Her father fell ill with cancer, and a year later he died.
Serena went into a state of clinical depression, but rather than go to a doctor, she fell into the wrong crowd. She started using drugs and drinking. Her boyfriend at that time was someone named Jamie McCullum. He was one of her anchors during that time, as well as a Swedish Warmblood named Quantum Physics. For two years this went on, and after a spurt in rehab, Serena moved to the states. She was in a school named Blue Ridge Riding Academy and met her current boyfriend there. His name, Dustin Jude Levens.
She graduated early on account of her marks being so good, and now finds herself with Dustin in Park Equine College. Serena hopes to study Science at a later stage, but is happy to take a few courses here. She has changed her name to Serena van der Woodsen, adopting her father's surname rather than the Waldorf of her mother.
