BACKGROUND:Alan was born and raised in Scotland. He lived around horses as his parents trained steeplechasers. He has competed in dressage and show jumping his whole life and still does to this day. He grew up in a loving household, and decided after graduating to spend time travelling. For a year traveled the globe and working at top yards. Afterwards he studied business at Oxford. When he was 23 he got married to an Englishwoman. When he was 25, Shannon was born.
They were happy, but the marriage started splitting at the seams. The two decided that a divorce would be for the best, rather than the constant bickering. Alan was given full custody over Shannon, and the two find themselves at Park Equine. Alan is still a competitive rider and trains horses at his leisure. He also has two other children, a son and another daughter, but their mother has custody over them. They come and visit during holidays and some weekends
