PLAYBY:John van de Ruit
FULL NAME:Andrew Lennox
NICKNAMES: Len
AGE: 30
GENDER: Male
ETHNICITY:South African
STUDENT OR STAFF:Staff/./History Teacher
HALL: Dakota
PERSONALITY:A good-hearted soul is what Len has. He is friendly and courteous to all, and makes a point of manners in his class. When in a debate, he often plays the devil's advocate, never picking a side, but rather posing challenging questions to both sides. It's kind of how he lives his life. He never choses one side, and always seems to have some form of challenging question that only he can answer.
Len's passion for teaching comes out when he is in a History class. There is never a time when he is actually bored by the subject, and neither are his students. Even the most reluctant perk up in his class. Debates are mostly impromptu and never have a set day. Whether they be about a World War, or the Crusades.
His personal life is mostly just there. He isn't a big one for dating, as he never really has the courage to ask a girl out. He's a shy one when it comes to the opposite sex. Len loves a good get together with friends, mostly a braai with a few beers. A big rugby fan, there is often a get together when there is a big match. For example, The Tri-Nations or Super 14. He is also a cricket fan, and is an avid supporter of New Zealand.
He is not quick to anger, but when roused will be quite aggressive or even shout a bit. It depends on the situation that he finds himself in.
BACKGROUND:Born in the Western Cape, Len was mostly raised in Cape Town. He was schooled at a public school until he won a scholarship for high school. Sent off to boarding school, Michael House, Len soon learned that madness follows one around every where. He had a senile old grandmother, and his parents weren't exactly sane. His father was known around the school for having a heart attack during a cricket match.
He was part of the school choir for a while, and then later captain of the first cricket team. When finished with school, Len went to study history at the University of Pretoria. He graduated with honors, and became an Alumni of UP. He's been teaching at Michael House for the last five years, but relocated to England about 4 months ago. He now comes to teach at Park.
