PERSONALITY: Royal is spirited yet friendly. He will walk right up to you without any hesitation and enjoys being in the company of people.He will walk, trot, canter and halt on the lunge. He is also comfortable being cross tied, clipping and loading. Most recently, Royal has been started under saddle and is going nicely at the walk, trot and canter with a natural frame. He takes walks in the field and is very quiet and not spooky. He is now working in the arena and starting jumping, which he clearly enjoys but is not over the top about it.
HISTORY: Royal was foaled at Clover Stud - Mel's stepfather's farm - the day after Mel and her family moved in. As a gift for taking her mother's remarriage so maturely, when her stepfather saw her immediate love for Royal, he transferred the ownership to Melody that day. Melody has done all the work with him from a foal, with very little help from anyone else. His top bloodlines mean she is reluctant to geld him, and was happy to get permission to have a stallion at Park.
