Personality:
Jemma is quiet soul, who usually only speaks up for the horses. She is quick to anger, specially when her sister does something without consulting her. Jemma is annoyed easily, specially when she wants to be alone, and people don't get the hint.
With her friends she is relaxed and happy. She laughs a lot, and is bubbly, though retains that quiet demeanor
BACKGROUND:Jemma was born in Virginia, but the family moved to England as her father was a show jumper. After he had an accident on the circuit, he abandoned them, and Kirstin stayed behind in England to go to boarding school. Jemma and her mother went back to Virginia. Her mother started a rehabiltation center for horses, and soon Jemma learned how to heal horses, and how to train them without force.
Life was happy, until a fateful night. Jemma had found an abused horse, and Louise and she went to go fetch him. There was a bad thunderstorm and a tree was struck by lightning, falling across the road, in front of them. Louise was killed on impact, leaving Jemma and Spartan the only survivors.
Kirstin left a successful job in New York to look after Jemma, but Jemma had her grandfather. She and Kirstin didn't see eye to eye, and still don't. To escape her guilt, Jemma decided to leave Virginia and come to Blue Ridge. At Blue Ridge Academy she finished her education, but fell in love with a certain Callum Razamuth. Her father wanted to move back to England and offered to take Jemma with. With her and Spartan successful show-jumpers, she couldn't say no, and moved to England where she has been for the last 6 months.
Things between her and Callum have been complicated, and Jemma doesn't know what they are to each other any more. She still hopes that there are feelings between Callum and her. Her western mare has also arrived at Park Equine, and Jemma hopes that there will be some sort of Western riding going on.
