PERSONALITY: Alex loves to have fun! She is always smiling and always tried to make friends with everyone. What's that, you don't want to be her friend? Too bad, she'll try anyway. She should have been a cheerleader, but she didn't like the members of her high school squad so never tried out.
BACKGROUND: Alex was born to two very wealthy families. Yes, two families. Her parents were never actually married and fell out of love before Lexi found out that she was pregnant and by the time she did know (at 6 months), Mario was already in another relationship and happily married. Lexi did tell her ex and his wife about her pregnancy and as it turns out, Sophia (the new wife) couldn't conceive so they were more than happy that Mario was going to have a baby. At eight and a half months pregnant, Lexi walked down the aisle with her current husband.
Alex had a wonderful childhood where she was showered with love and gifts from both sets of parents. Alex's only problem was that she was confused on where "home" actually was as she spent as much time in her mother's town apartment with her step-father, as she did in her father's country estate with her step-mother.
For her fifth birthday, she was gifted with a pretty and spunky Welsh Cob mare, who the girl began to attend pony club on. Things with horses quickly moved on from there and as the girl grew and progressed in her riding, so did her mount.
It was once she reached high school that things began to change. Alex was a top honor-roll student, but she didn't seem to fit into any of the cliques which made her an outsider. She never wore the right clothes to hang out with the PC girls that attended her school - because she didn't want to rather than the fact she couldn't afford it. She wasn't enough of a nerd to hang out with the geeks. And she wasn't bitchy enough to hang out with the cheerleaders.
At the graduation party, she was "attacked" by the jocks and this "attack" left her with a dirty-little-secret that she didn't want her mother to know. She had spent her last year of HS looking around for a good college, and now more than ever she was pleased that she had been accepted into Park College.
Packing herself up, she kissed her parents good bye and boarded a plane.
MISC.: Yes, she has a bun in the oven. But only just.
