PERSONALITY:Bella is as sarcastic as they come. She doesn't believe the saying, "Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit," but don't let this flaw put you off. Bella is also very kind-hearted. She often puts other people's needs before her own, and chances her own happiness for others'
Bella is also a feminist. It's not that she doesn't like guys, but finds them to be slightly daft. To prove this she sometimes just goes all out to confuse them. Bella enjoys other people's company as well as her own. Mostly her own, because some of her relationships have gotten her finger's burn't.
Bella doesn't have a short temper, but when she does lose it, you better watch out, 'cause it can get ugly. It takes a lot to get her mad. Betrayal, dishonesty and cheating are 3 things that she can't stand, 'specially from her friends or close family.
BACKGROUND:
Pre- Blue Ridge
Bella has had a pretty normal life. There has been very few upsets, but one changed her life forever (explained later on).
Bella started riding when she was 4, but more for fun than anything else. She started riding competitively when she was 8, on a small Dales pony. However, living in such a small town had it's drawbacks, such as travelling further to shows and lessons. Yet her father wanted to give his only daughter the world, and so spared no expense in regards to her riding.
Before the accident
Bella got her first horse, a small Thoroughbred, when she was 15, and their bonding was a slow process. The horse had been slightly abused, and this haunted both of them. Bella's father wanted to sell him, but Bella refused. She knew that they would find a connection somehow. So Bella endured the bucking, falls and embarrassing moments with broken pride.
After the accident
On the 8th of May 2009 at 21:00 was the day that Bella nearly lost her life. The family had dinner in Seattle to celebrate the twin's and her mother's birthday. Bella opted to drive with Andrew, as the other car was full. On the outskirts of town, a drunk driver T-boned into them, into Bella's side of the car. The force of it left Bella unconscious with various broken bones and cuts. With fluid on her brain, Bella was rushed into surgery. It was a dangerous operation not to say the least, and there was a chance that Bella wouldn't make it out alive. She did however, but didn't open her eyes until nearly 3 months later.
If Andrew wasn't at school then he was with Bella in the hospital. He still blames himself and became very overprotective of Bella. Peter Pan. the Thoroughbred, realised that his cargo was precious, and with time spent with Pan, their bond grew stronger than ever. He still acts up once in a while. The only side effect from the accident for Bella: scars on her arms, and severe headaches some days.
Bella needed to escape Forks. The gossip was driving her crazy, and she just wasn't being included into anything. Her friends were scarce those months she was recovering and Bella gave them up to be a lost cause. Nobody really knew the truth of what happened that day. So Andrew is going to another boarding school in Kentucky, and Bella went to Blue Ridge Academy.
During Blue Ridge
Not much happened. She had a hard time settling in, but found a mentor in the principal Dafydd Rees. In her last month at the Academy, her parents informed her that they were separating, and she felt her world fall into itself. There was nothing that she could do. Her two younger brothers are staying with her mom, and Andrew is at Oxford.
Post Blue Ridge:
Bella's father moved his main office to London, and so she decided to come with, finding Park Equine. Her horses that she had at the Academy are at a riding stable, Pan being a lesson horse to the older riders, Syn teaching the little ones and Star being leased to a rider that she bonded with.
